I always complained that cafeteria food in schools couldn't be any worse than food served in prison. I was just watching Supersize Me and here is what I found out.

So, either inmates are getting too good a lunch, or students aren't getting good enough a lunch. What do you think?
We have good days and bad days. I can't say that the food is horrible, but it could be better. But, what bugs me is that every Wednesday It's fishday. Fried fish, boiled-in-something-fish, fishbolls, undercooked fishsticks and so on... Oh! And the milk is bad at least once a week.

False firealarms, making out with someone in the bathroom, fighting, trowing water at someone, people flooding the school by letting the water run in every single restroom, getting send to the principal for setting a trashcan on fire etc Aaahhh.. Good times! ;D
Again, another good thing about being homeschooled. No school lunches... =)

I agree that the first and second are fun, sort of, but I don't have many memories of fondness related to my school.
But the lunches where I went to were okay, I liked the food my mother packed me a lot better. But sometimes you have no choice, I had to eat at the cafeteria a few times.
I once influenced 3 people, who used to buy lunch every day, to switch to bringing their lunch after I showed them how you can get whatever you want. That was my best moment ever.

I honestly can't imagine being homeschooled. I'm so used to the whole get up in the morning, go to school, come home routine. Now that I think about it...I really like school! I met 70% of all my friends there. The homework, tests and everything is a kinda annoying sometimes, but it has it's charm!
anyone else here a boarder at their school? man, the most fun ive ever had was in year 9 (dont knwo what grade that is (im useless at that stuff haha) but i wouldve been 13/14) in the boarding house...part of the fun was probably complaining about the food yea :P

I'm homeschooled... So technically it's a boarding school, too, with only one student... =)
My school's lunch rocks! We buy from different stores, so its like a foodcourt. Theres also a cafe. If you don't like school lunches, just pack a lunch or take a heavy breakfast!
also, it really baffles me how it is possible that the paid staff working there do not even bother to taste the rice and realise it is still crunchy! really not cool...!
