I always complained that cafeteria food in schools couldn't be any worse than food served in prison. I was just watching Supersize Me and here is what I found out.

So, either inmates are getting too good a lunch, or students aren't getting good enough a lunch. What do you think?
when ur in elementary school the food is terrible when u get to junior high the food is bad when u get to high school the food is edible when u get to college is when the food start to really taste good =]
Is school food really bad in the West? Cause here in Singapore the food absolutely rocks, wide variety, have as much as you want( you pay though), all the nice candy bars, sweets( from the snackstore there)... ahhh! I can't wait for lunch every day!
I changed schools a lot over the course of elementary school. So far, I've been in the same middle school. In first grade the meals were awesome, I'm sure it wasn't just for 1st grade, because all the grades had it. i wish i had stayed there longer. second school i stayed for three years, had moderately good food. in 5th grade, it was pretty bad. I tried not to eat anything there. in my middle school, it was the worst. i think it was a little bit better than prison because at least the fruit was good. although that might be because it's California. My first day, i get slab of pizza there. rush to restroom to throw up after three minutes. never eaten in school cafeteria since.
The potatoes aren't cooked, or over cooked. Everytime I eat something I get hair in my food (in school). And I know I don't have gre(a)y hair.... Well, the potatoes are crap!
This is strange I ate beef nachos at school then went to a Mexican restaraunt for dinner and got a soft taco. My school lunch tasted better then the restaraunt. My school lunch is great.
