Why do people like them so much? The only thing thats decent about them is that they play fast. Besides that they have no musical quality. They stay in one key through "Through the Fires and Flames" and they cant keep a tempo live because there a recording band not live band.

So is it just me or dose everyone not appreciate real musical quality anymore?????

Eh, they're okay, but they are just to inaudible through most of their songs.

Slash doesn't blatantly suck, he's just WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overrated. And he's not one of the most melodic guitarists. That would be John Petrucci

i agree that John Petrucci is very melodic for metal but i would put Carlos Santana before John on melodic level .

Slash is a little over rated but still is pretty great
(I will agree with anyone who says Velvet Revolver is a total disappointment)

i didn't say he was the MOST melodic player i said he was one of the best as in he's def. in the top 15
