He was more like a racist, misunderstood and insane man. If he was stupid then, he would of been defeated so easily or he would of never become the dictator of Germany. I do agree with you that he was good in military matters.

Hitler was definitely one of the most influential person on the world's history and left his mark on it for good or for bad...

He was a charasmatic guy, intellgient and razor sharp. Under him, life in Germany was improved albeit through expanding the army and arms industry, and by general censorship. But hey the majority then didnt complain. And yeah he seriously hated destested jews, but he wasnt the first. Call the Treaty of Versailles retarded before calling him one. So yeah I admire him for somethings but not for others. What a split personality, Jekyll/Hyde eat your heart out!

I think he was a brilliant leader, with some seriously misguided ideals.

Nazi-fascisme was maybe retarded (holocaust and termination of things like gayness and stuff like that) but Hitler was a man who understood what humans are like, he just used that ability for power and his crazyness. When Hitler was someone with 'normal/good' ideas he would be one hell of a president or something. He was not retarded, just crazy.

Just to clarify, Hitler does not equal Fascism! The goverment that Hitler had was a sub section of Fascism. You could say Hitlerism was a subset of Fascism. The original guy who preached this was Mussolini. Anti-semitism does not define Fascism. Mussolini didnt dislike Jews, he married a Jewish woman, had Jewish officials in his party and only killed them when pressured by Hitler. And Hitler was an anti-semitist gone overboard but so have many other people like Stalin/King Edward I of England etc..

Stormchaser . I expect even you would commit suicide when an enemy that absolutely hates your guts for killing 20 million of their people are just 500 metres away from you. heil!

On 30 April 1945, after intense street-to-street combat, when Soviet troops were within a block or two of the Reich Chancellery, Hitler committed suicide, shooting himself in the mouth while simultaneously biting into a cyanide capsule. Hitler's body and that of Eva Braun (his mistress whom he had married the day before) were put in a bomb crater, doused in gasoline by Otto Günsche and other Führerbunker aides, and set alight as the Red Army advanced and shelling continued.

Imagine what they would do with him if he was alive.

If you have read Mein Kampf, you would know that he was a raving madman before he became Furher. You would also know that he cannot write very well...

Exactly, also once he had got news of what had happened to Mussolini he definently did not want to be caught. Shame to be honest.

@Stormchaser, what would you do if an entire Soviet division was in your garden, and they were bent on killing every single one of your fellow countrymen?

With his ally Benito dead, what else could he do? He would rather have died with dignity than be captured by the Soviets which Hitler described as animals.

The manner of his death showed him and the rest of the Nazi regime for what they truly were. Malicious cowards.
