I wouldn't say suicide was dignified to be honest. Though it was the lesser of two evils I suppose. I know I would have done the same if I was in his shoes. God knows what the allies would have done to him. Though I know churchill planned to use the electric chair if we caught him.

Classic Winston. Although personally I do not advocate capital punishment, even for such a despicable individual. I would rather lock him up to rot, with a tv and 'Jewish Life TV' being his only channel.

Seeing as it was the Russians who took Berlin, probably something quite nasty. I would specualte that he would have been put to excellent propaganda use, for the USSR before his inevitable execution.
[b]Hitler was a dictator in germany originally born in austria. he was an artists at one point but wouldnt get accepted to any art schools. so he decided to join the austrian-hungy army during WWI, but they denied him. so he moved to germany and joined that army which he gained ranks and eventually became a dictator. he believed that germany was cheated during WWI he said it was unfair to take all the blame and that made many germans angry. He blamed Germany's struggles on communists,jews,and non-arians(arians were supposabley the perfect race).As stated in his book "Mein Caumf". Which means My Struggle, referring to germany. i believe it was wrong to do all the antisemitist stuff.

I believe suicide was the best choice because he was mad and would have been killed anyway. I also believe that he turned out to be a mad man because he was mistreated when he was young and was denied like everything he tried in austria.

Aside from the July plot, no one was trying to kill Hitler, although his own paranoia convinced him that half of the Wermacht commanders were against him. He was hiding in a bunker because by this time in the war Berln was being shelled by the Russians and bombed heavily during the day by the Americans and during the night by the British. It was for his own safety, but not from his own men.

Hitler was a military genius. he could have led his armies, the Wehrmacht, to victory, but he made many bad decisions. He wasted his soldiers on concentration camps. He should have focused on England, and shouldn't have invaded Russia. When England was losing her planes, she bombed Berlin. Instead of bombing London, he should have carried on the attack on the airfields. His slaughter of people of the Jewish faith was unforgivable. He was quite mad. I know these from the top of my head.
