I watched the newest Rambo movie last night, and I think there might be something wrong with me. In the opening scene, when the guy stands on the land mine, I laughed, REALLY hard. And when the people are getting their limbs cut off I laughed and made jokes. I fell on the ground almost crying when the guards head got caved in by the sniper bullet. Is there something wrong, or did everyone find this brutal movie as hilarious as I did?
Well, violence can sometimes be funny. Not usually, or at least in my case.
It depends completely on the violence. If you watch Pineapple Express, most of the humor is violent humor; and, as far as comedies go, this one has quite a vast amount of humor.
Everyone has sinister thoughts yours is more apparent but there's nothing wrong with you. I guess you found it funny because you knew it wasn't real. I got pissed off at school one because my classmates were laughing over this soldier getting decapitated with a chainsaw by terrorists. It's sick and disrespectful to make a mockery of someone who died for his country,family and honor.
