Each animal has a trait that keeps them alive. These traits have been developed by experience and survival instinct. This process is called Evolution.
For example, the Archer Fish had always seen insects on leaves but wasn't a fast enough swimmer to catch underwater prey. This caused the fish to starve to death. They soon developed a way to spit water at the insects and cause them to fall of their leaf so the fish can eat them.
Evolution is always continuing. The only thing that is consistent in life is change. What do you think Humans will evolve into? Will they develop a new skill or a new body?
I personally think they will grow taller and develop stronger bones and muscles. The common cause of death among humans has usually got to do with them being crushed or damaged seriously somehow whether it be hit by a car or dying in a fight of some sort. I've heard rumours that people with red hair are going extinct due to their vulnerability to the sun.
Well actually red heads are getting rarer nowadays, the most redheads can be found in Scotland. I think humans will get smarter and develop bigger brains, due to all the new knowledge that scientists keep gathering. Maybe if we colonise other planets, our lungs would develop to adapt to the place. But I don't think these will happen in a few million years, it usually takes a looooong time. So no chance of growing extra limbs, another mouth or that sort of thing in the near furture.
Unlike most animals we seem to evolve little (though most greater mammals seem to evolve very little as well). There is a growing limit for humans, I think, and all that. I am pretty sure we, instead of evolving would just adapt to the situation (we have done that always).
our lungs would develop to adapt to the place
I think if we end up on other planets, either the atmosphere should match the earth somewhat, or else we will use gasmask and all that and be unable to breathe the atmosphere.
I'm guessing basically just fewer differences between the sub-breeds of homo sapiens. Since, ya know, Caucasians breed with Asians and ... I can't remember the names of the other groups, but just saying I think those will become less obvious in the somewhat near future.
Our jaws are also potentially becoming shorter (notice how many have to have their wisdom teeth pulled?), there's that thing about pinky toes...
I could easily be wrong.
But I don't think we'll develop something really useful. We make machines for that. :/
Well, if we develop machines and robots to do daily chores/ work for us, I'm also guessing our proportion of fat will increase, bone mass decrease, and well we become big lard balls, just like wall-e XD.
we will have 2 faces!!!!!!!!!!!!! we can eat twice as fast so restaraunts can get you to ur table faster
Having two faces won't make waiters get you to your table faster...
There's some interesting opinions but I still think that we will make some changes, not just stay the same. Recently I learned in S.O.S.E. that the Neanderthals (first form of humans), had extreme hair growth. This was due to the Ice Age. Since Global Warming is an occurring issue today, we will probably lose hair in some parts of the world.

Well if thats true that meens we can adapt to the situation alot easier then whatshisname said so =]
Or maybe we will adapt to machines instead of to natural things. That's the great part... we can't tell at all, only guess. If it were a simple matter of stimuli produced by the world around us, it wouldn't be that hard... after all, that evolves at a slow pace as well. Technology however evolves so much faster. Maybe we will adapt to it, maybe it will adapt to us, maybe something all together different will happen.
what pixel says is kinda true, maybe we would evolve to cyborgs, there are already artificial robotic arms! who knows what will happen? I just hope that we would still keep our moral values and the ability to display emotions...
due to the theorys of global warming, if the earth does flood and the sun burns the atmosphere, we might die out, and reborn again in a billion years, but this time as a race that can survive underwater.
