Another one for you guys: Was Jesus a lunatic, a good teacher, God, or something else? This should get interesting...

He was not God, he was the son of God. He was referred to as Lord. Yes, he was a great teacher and that's why many followed him.

Aye.
He was a grand teacher, and his morals was (is) good to live by.
If he really was the son of God, idk, but he still acted better than many other people.

I'll tell you what it will be after at least two pages. It will end up being another Christianity vs. evolution thread. lol...I can only argue in a certain number of threads.

Jesus was the son of God and a good teacher. He was perfect cause he was part of God.

Jesus was human, therefore he wasn't perfect. He was a good preacher, just like hitler. Both knew what to say to people. The difference is that what Jesus preached was love and good will beetwen all.

Jesus was God in the flesh. He was totally human, but totally God at the same time, so yes He was perfect. Hitler was not a preacher, unless your definition of &quotreacher" is "one who preaches" and your definition of &quotreach" is "deliver". Preacher is usually not used in such a general way.

Yes Jesus was human but he was part of the trinity and God made him and him alone to be perfect.

Dacer is right about Jesus. He was crucified so we could have a personal relationships with God. He was the ultimate sacrifice for us all.

Jesus, yes, he was a good teacher, after all, it was the 10 commandments and his tweaking
to the laws that were the first stable codes of law. It was mostly based on morally-lawful
reasons, anyways =P

Now, Jesus may have been a good teacher, and to his followers, the son of God, BUT, to those that were
living back then thought of him as a lunatic. Think about what was going through their minds. A
guy just all of a sudden walks around saying he's the son of God, obviously, you would be
confused, but at the same time either mad, or distressed.... but not without proof, right? =P

It will happen just like the other threads. If someone doesn't have an open-mind, then there is no need to discuss something. Anything I say will be countered with "He was God in earth", "He payed for our sins".

It was, and he also made certain other quotes, like "Love your friends and hate your enemy", but Jesus
came and revised most of them into stronger morals.
