I've read the firefox thread and I still have some doubts.

1. Is the download free?

2. Can I have both IE and firefox?

3. If I change to firefox my internet files(Cookies) will be deleted?

4. Is firefox more safe then IE? I mean is the pop-up blocker good?

5. The ad-ons are free? I think so But I'm not sure.

Yes.

2. Can I have both IE and firefox?

Yes.

3. If I change to firefox my internet files(Cookies) will be deleted?

The cookies cannot be transfered, but will stay in IE.

4. Is firefox more safe then IE? I mean is the pop-up blocker good?

Yes.

5. The ad-ons are free? I think so But I'm not sure.

Some are, some are not, if I recall correctly.

Well, go to the homepage, and it will say if you ave to pay or not. The ad blocker is free, auto refresh is as well, and different skins are too.

by the way, i was able to transfer all data from internet explorer to firefox when i downloaded it first...

For some reason i dont like fire fox, im still not convinced its more safe then IE, i wont go into the discussion but reading about firefox on varius sites made me think twice about downloading it. Alas i think youll be fine if you know how to secure your pc aswell though.
I think its a matter of preferance.

FireFox is fine, i like it, its more user-friendly than IE and usually its faster.

Recently Internet Explorer was hacked into by malicious sources. Thousands of credit cards were stolen online. Firefox has had no such issue and remains the safer option of web browsing.

I like the firefox layouts better, and the toolbars are a lot more handy and the add-ons are really a bonus. No difference in speed though, but download firefox anyways because it's simply better.

well lets just put some of the worst things.


theres a 50% better chance to not get viruses (yea thats the only good thing)

but....

twice as slow as IE in some situations, my computer for one

half the pictures DON'T show on firefox

the layout is so..... lame

and the cookie thing is annoying.

theres alot more but i would have to google it, those things are the most annoying that i experiance with Fire Fox

In my opinion the speed is exactly the same.
Pictures don't show because you haven't downloaded the latest flash player. The layout is awesome, and what's wrong with the cookie thing? Your probably just pissed because you haven't downloaded the latest version.
