I've noticed that all of the 0 AP ghost accounts are ranked #88,270. So, if there is a way to delete a designated amount of accounts, then Dan or another admin could delete a few thousand accounts below that mark a day, and the ghost accounts would be nixed slowly but surely. Any thoughts?
If people never use their accounts, then why sign up.
To read the comments, darn it. How would you know if someone have used their account? Just because there is no ap does not really mean there is not activity. We are not all ap seekers, you know.
And if they are not active for a long period of time, on 0 AP, mods should delete those users.

If you were not to have any AP, you would have to avoid the forums, not comment on anything and not post comments. Considering that there are about 100,000 ghosts with 0 AP I can say that many of them have abandoned AG.

Sure thing. But those who have not, well, it would be more than unfair to ban them. Maybe some day, they actually want to be active. Also, there is some that forget about it, but then come back later on. Vacations, moving, stuff like that will make people forget a little as well.

Yes. It will be impossible. Ghosts are untraceable if they abandon AG and if they do not gain and AP. That makes things tedious.

I doubt that anyone with 0 AP and have had an account for some time, will come back to AG. Surely they would do something as soon as they sign up. Hell, they could even post spam comments in a game. With about 80,000 low ranking members who are below the rank of squire, I can say that those people are either slow to progress, not gaining points at all or they are real ghosts. Only less than 5000 members are really active.

uh yeah are you saying its OK to spam game comments?I am not so sure you should be talking.Besides what if someone was on AG,just going on the forum games and new member sections,and reading game comments.All of those things together get you a total of 0 AP.Are those people inactive as well?
As everyone keeps saying, ghost accounts to outright bother people, but they are TRULY annoying. The make it seem like there are many more people who are members of AG than there actually is, which makes it impossible to tell the true health of the site because there are so many. Also, everyone says it would be unfair to the users who actually use AG but don't bother to get a single Armor Point. Why would they care if they got deleted? Even if they did decide to become active one day, it would be almost no trouble to make a new account, and it wouldn't set them back at all.
THe thing is some are ghost accounts with only 10 or 5 ap. YOu can't look at the ap. THey could also have 0 ap if they only comment in the game forum. To catch these ghosts armorgames would need a system of it's own...
