You get the knife from out of the wall of the hut. You get the objects from around the camp: +1 scroll +1 vial +1 small bag of gold ($20)

Stickman (psst...you have $71 right now) You eat ur meat and checks the vial. It is labeled "holy water: sprinkle on creature to tame". You can sell the dart shooter for $20.

I'll sell that dart shooter...and the giant tree branch and use the knife as a weapon. I'll go hunt some more. Hunting is good. I'm saving my money for the good armor, so don't bug me about it.
