I bought a girlfriend an acre of moon. She totally thought it was the coolest thing ever. I mean, seriously, how many guys can really go around saying "I brought you the moon." Besides, if mining ever takes place on the moon (which is highly likely) the land would have to be purchased or rented from the owner, so that's kind of a neat prospect.
I would be interested to se what the surface are of the moon is and how many acres have been sold. The moon is big so they may not have got round to it yet but I wouldn't be surprised if they had sold one plot to more than one person. I'm not sure how official these things are and from what I have seen "some" companies doing this aren't that reeliable.
