Earth Hour starting in an hour or so here. I guess I have a lot of stuff to do, like my dishes and so. And that assignment, but it will have to wait. So, probably going to light some candles and draw for that hour. Nothing fancy.
Well the point is to give our earth a break from electricity. I am sure it is for a full hour, I would hardly believe that anyone would do this, seriously. Know one that I know cares, but this idea occurred while on a Esurance commercial....
I didn't use any electricity other than my cell phone (battery) for about two and a half hour... Was pretty boring. Without electricity I really don't have anything to do during the darker hours of the day. Not enough light to draw or read or anything, don't have that many activities I can do in darkness...
Either support this pointless and idiotic Earth Hour, or watch college basketball.......

Earth hour is an activist statement, so I would hardly expect it to yield results in and of itself. For every one person that thinks it is stupid and says so other people will think maybe it's something they could or even should do, so I don't mind if you support it or not, just be as vocal as you can about your opinion
A fruitless endeavour designed by a commercialised do-gooder organisation that serves only to make a few otherwise unremarkable people feel good about themselves for doing nothing much at all.
