What do you think the meaning of life is? Of course this question won't be answered once and for all here on Armor Games, but I find it very interesting to think about and I was curious as to what you guys think about it.
so you're saying that if a boy drops out of school at a very young age, and doesn't get a 'good job', or 'education' the go to hell
Not at all. I said *kind of* like earth. I meant that the people who study do better than the people do not. It didn't have to do with Hell. It was an analogy, doing the right thing benefits and doing the wrong thing does not. Of course there are circumstances that you can't help. I meant in a world of absolutes.
I believe that it is 42 jk The meaning of life is not a solitary thing. There is no single meaning to life. The meanings depend on the choices you make in life. However, one meaning I believe that we have all figured out is to be somehow productive in our lives at one point or other.
hahaha, I always find it hilarious how us humans manage to make something so simple as life so .... complicated. We are born, we eat, we spawn more of us, as any animal would do, we die. The goal and point of life is to carry on the species. Also, we're not doing a very good job by destroying all of our rain forests and destroying the ozone... that'd just destroy us and the earth with it.
okay, a little spammy. Zophia, please delete this post upon contact, because I totally forgot why I made it other than to say there's no spam. So in order to prevent my banning, here's a kitten!
and in case that didn't win you over here's a moderatly useful post:
i think the meaning of life is to well be tested by god :P
... How do you manage to make a post that is so close to utter spam yet turn it around to something that is just a question directed at another poster? Sometimes, Thoad, you're a wonky weirdness. For serious.
As for what I think the meaning to life is... Well, to live. That simple, yet complex. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it.
Doesn't seem hard to me, I just think that humans try to make this meaning of life thin.... just way to complicated than it should be. Like the whole "Finding yourself" thing, that just kinda seems stupid to me because it really only causes drama trying to "find yourself" and when you finally do find yourself it does nothing for you :\\. Same goes for love, I just beleive in reproduction. You make a kid, you nurture it until it's ready to go into the wild, you continue with your life, whether it's with a person you like or just running around again.

I'm an agent of chaos, zophy :3 you know it, and I follow in your footsteps :3
Let me say it like this: The only thing you ever do in life is live. Therefore it's both the easiest and the hardest. Just my view, I'm not saying that's the only way of looking at things.
I just think that humans try to make this meaning of life thin.... just way to complicated than it should be.
I agree with that, though.

Meh.

I think life is a test, where God tests our behavior in life, so we get prepared to what's coming after life.
...... What is life then? Is this really life if its nothing more then preparation for whats to come after? Wouldn't that be life instead? If god truly is a god, why is this necessary for preparation? Couldn't he just make us ready? He made us according to Christian beliefs, so why create others who don't believe in him? How would that prepare them?
I think before we can accurately answer this question, we need to figure out what is being asked. If I were to ask, "What is the meaning of (insert word here)?" you would probably give me a definition. I don't think that's what we're asking here. So, what is meant by "meaning"? Are we investigating an ultimate purpose or goal? Are we trying to figure out if we are supposed to be gaining something from life? Also, by life, is this restricted to human life? Life on Earth? Any living thing in the universe? Until the question can be more honed in, the answers will just run in circles, I suppose :P
