ah paradoxes...Everything includes No-thing but if that is true then everything is nothing which means that there is no-thing so that contradicts every-thing
Here's a standard skeptical argument if you guys want to play around with it. I'll give the premises and explain just a bit:
1) If I know that P, then I know I'm not just dreaming that P. 2) I don't know that I'm not just dreaming that P. / I Don't that that P.
Here, P can be substituted with any propositional knowledge, such as "I have hands." So P1 looks like: If I know that I have hands, then I know I'm not merely dreaming that I have hands. P2 is the skeptical premise. If we are within a big dream or if we are brains in vats, then it seems we don't know much about the worlds at all. Plus, if we are brains in vats, then there would be no way to tell, so we can't be sure if we are in a skeptical scenario or not. The conclusion follows by modus tollens that we don't know any given P (propositional knowledge).
I don't see how we couldn't exist. I suppose we could be a dream of someone elses, but even so we would still exist. Maybe when we dream we are simply looking into the life of someone else in an alternative reality?
Oh yes i have heard this before. Ever heard of similationism people belive that everything around us is just computer and I my brain was taken out of my skull and hooked up to a computer
It's actually quite probable nothing exists if I remember correctly there's a better chance where all someones characters in a video game then we actually exist *shrugs shoulders* .But I'm still pretty sure were real.
Someone told me about a religion that believes that everything was created last Thursday or something and that everything has been planted here to look as if it has been here forever.
