im aware, tahts what i was doing the entire time and i got up to 137(every singel map spot) gems of grade 12/13 prismatic adn almost had enough for a grade 20, when i realised i had a 19 18 17 and 15 after cmobining all i wish i played a little longer to get a 20 but yea it would have hit 100k cuz the grade 19 hit 60k, with abuot a 20% chance of triple adn 20%ish chance of chain so it could have hit 300k dmg on multiple targets in a row, plus its splash radius was huge, around 50 hehe it was fun but i think id need around 20 grade 20s or 137 grade 16/17 with armor lowering slowing mana farm and shocking traps to have a chance and that would take me around 16 hours so i gave up but one day ill try again
this is why id love to see option to craft for example grade 7s straight into your inv for cost of around 8k, this would double my power alone, ability to craft grade 10s for 60k would make me around 10x more fireing power, the amount of mana isnt a question for every 150k mana i spend it gets replaced by over 400k and i have to mana pool before i can craft anothr round
well firetail, I have just three battles with resulting exp of over 100k, and I'm now wizard level 247, and this is normal only challenge! So I expect getting 300+ is a matter of another three of them, which are easy in fact once you get full skill. And I'm going straight forward from the 2nd arcane! (I'd better play battles more 'normally' to finally make the game completed, I haven't yet seen the GoE)
About traps - well, yes, mana traps are the best, the R/P traps are close to them, especially if you don't pay attention to armor of an angered wave and end up with ~500 or more even 300 is a heck of a disturbance, and R/Y are somewhat tricky traps, they really do 3x strikes AND they have enhanced speed, making them into really fast grinders, compared and probably beating the best damaging tower of the same grade in terms of sheer DPS.
Karsten, I prefer to make 3 grade 4 R/O duals and 3 other grade 4 L/Y duals, provided the level can supply all 4 those colors, or else I preserve 1-2 grade 1 to grade 2 of those colors and make less gems. I have enough mana to supply all of them with bases, and then angering the first wave with grade 1s 5-6 times... should do. Then it's indeed a race between mana pooling, making more R/O traps, angering monsters and speeding up existing mana trap gems.
Angering arcane guardians??? YE-E-E-ES PLEASE! *laughs* I really would like to see a through-the-roof arcane guardian, after the last wave of ~300 ~1M HP giants the arcane of 100k is a joke
6.3 multiplier at wave 23? You might have some 10 mana traps, I usually end with less (last time it was 8 tho), and I actually prefer a supergemmed grade 3-4 to a grade 8 trap at least at waves 5-10.
What's the armor level of your mobs? How hard do you usually anger normal waves? I personally prefer to keep armor under 100, say 94 as one of the frequent numbers over there.
any update on score/wave/multiplier? gl anyways but yea i tend to ease off as the game goes, like wave 50-60 ill +60 the wave monsters then in mid 60s ill +45 then 70s ill +30 till around wave 80 where i just ease it to the normal wave so that all the waves are about same difficulty or only get slightly stronger each wave.
ill slowly try to master making the wave just as hard as the fire-poewr i have, like i said with unspendable mana even if they added grade 7s id double my power nearly
well gl cant wait for an update, oh and if u make vid start off slow so i can see how you start better then like 8x it for the waves that are just straigh firing toward the end
Lankhr: I think it was you that said you like level #45? I don't remmeber the exact level, but I looked at it and imho it sux. It doesn't have either red or orange and so is really hard to craft a mana trap.
I just played lvl 75 and kinda liked that. But now I'm getting too bored to keep playing, there is not much fun in this anymore. Perhaps I need a break again.
is 1071 max trap speed? grade 13 prismatics in traps reducing armor freezing slowing damaging anything withing radius of 59 (2-3 squares) firing 10x per second hitting 6 monsters at once getting 8 mana (x 1.4 x ~10) per hit all at once owns =] i think a line of grade 15 traps like this would be amazing for any map and basicly win or last till triple didget waves no problem in endurance mode but someone also said they reach like 1170 and ive never got that
Absolutely. It seems traps work best if they have a little red in them. I mainly use two types of traps; Purple red to strip the armor off angered waves and Orange Red to gather mana.
I've read of Green/Red combos, but I've never tried them. Same for Yellow/Red traps.
I never put cyan/blue or lime in traps. I used to put a blue/red in front of my mana trap. but the resulting game lag was too horrible to bear.
In general, I don't much go for those colors, except when I can create prismatic gems.
for those who are attempting to defeat wave 228, here are three approximations I made of the monster hp (assuming normal monsters, and a simple exponential curve), along with the datapoints used 1,430,000,000 (waves 1 and 17 as data points) 1,260,000,000 (waves 1 and 2 as data points) 7,230,000,000 (waves 5 and 6 as data points) i'll try and calculate the banishment cost and armor level next, though first i'll have to figure out the equation type.
if i remember correctly wave 228 is a wave of about 14 runner monsters at 1.2b hp, realy with enough time and a map that long 16b is possible to dmg but id estimate ud need a full 105 grade 19 prismatic traps to beat game (they max around 10k at speed of 1100ish meaning hits about 180k dmg per second on 6 targs at once once its reduced armor to 0, plus stuns and freezez and gives mana etc so ud have 105 gems doing about 1m dmg per second, thats intense and would be enough to take that wave down in 3 mins but it takes a min to reduce armor and tehres other waves on, 17s/18s may just do the job but either way it could take anywhere crom 30-120 hours, maybe 10 if they allow grade 10ish craftable gems at cost of about 64k mana
