Do you think it's possible if your on a planet 1,000 light years away you could look at earth through a really really strong telescope(even though one couldn't see that far)you could see earth 1,000 years ago?

Didn't Adam live for 800 years? and and moses from the old testament live for 600 or something?
Why do we only live for 50-60 years average

And you seem to read the bible, maybe you should go back and read it again?

I don't, I use the bible to find fault and holes with Christians.

It's actually 70 years for men, 75 for women. Or at least I think it is. I last checked it 3 years ago, so I hope my memory is accurate. Any it's a lot longer than a few centuries ago, back then it was around what you said, on average.

It varies among countries. For the US I think that 70 and 75 is correct though.

Ever since the flood there has been alot less water in the air creating lower air pressure so we die at a younger age.

What? What would air pressure have to do with us dieing young? Plus if all of Earth was flooded most of it would have had to evaporate back into the air.

It did but everything was changed. That's what God wanted.

If aliens about...100 light years away were watching us through amazingly powerful telescopes, they'd be watching what was going on 100 years ago.

LOL so they could come try to attack us (If they were as far back as teh stone ages)thinking we use clubs still. WE could trick them easily.

Yes, they could...unfortuanately for us, if they were able to arrive, they would have highly advanced weaponry. We would be destroyed, even if they thought we were in the stone ages. I mean, it's not like they'd be thinking "Hey, they're in the stone ages, let's kill them with arrows". They'd be thinking "Hey, they're in the stone ages, let's kill them with lasers".

True I was joking but we don't know for sure they are farther advanced then us. For all we know tehy might throw rocks at people. Also we don't even know if they're real.

Or we can pretend to make peace, and get them drunk on alcohol, kill them and steal their technologies....

Those aliens wouldn't even know about it until 1000 years later. Sooo yea.
