Do you think it's possible if your on a planet 1,000 light years away you could look at earth through a really really strong telescope(even though one couldn't see that far)you could see earth 1,000 years ago?

You wouldn't be seeing the past. If your looking at Earth from far away then you'd actually just see everything say 1000 years LATE.

No?

Ever since the flood there has been alot less water in the air creating lower air pressure so we die at a younger age.

Now i'm not sure if you were joking paintballer, but hasn't the average age of humans been going up over the past few years?

Depends on the frame of reference. For you it's occuring exactly when it's suppose to, because of the time it too to travel to get to you. But if you put the frame of reference to be the planet, then yes, it is late because the planet would be different as those 1000 years passed by.

It used to be like 600 before teh flood now its like around 60.

but hasn't the average age of humans been going up over the past few years?

My best guess for that is cause there's been more ways to heal things and better medicine.

I have heard claims like the first person to live to 5000 is alive know which is pretty cool. And then 1000 is the next aim. It seems outlandish but the next few decades could be fun

Nobody after the "FLOOD" has lived past 150. The oldest person that has been documented is 110, and the oldest person now is 109.

Edit:

Pluto is about 3,660,000,000 million miles from the sun. Earth is about 92,900,000 miles from the sun. 3,660,000,000-92,900,000 is 3,567,100,000 the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second, so we are seeing pluto as it was 19,177.95 seconds ago or 319.63 minutes ago or 5.32 hours ago

Ah ok. Well I wonder if the Keplar rocket, if it gets far enough, manages to see this anomaly. If it gets far enough away it will almost be able to look a few years into the past.

that is possible, because once it runs out of fuel it drifts in a straight line in space. Eventually reaching a point for when we see it, it will be a few years ago. This is because the rocket is traveling away from the earth at a high speed, but it is not traveling faster than the light is hitting it and sending the information back towards earth. If the rocket so happens to travel faster than the speed of light then we would never ever see it.

Wow DDX you really powned me right there XP

lawl, nobody owns me in math

Where do you get your info? The oldest person is like 130 NOT 500.

Read my post carefully. The first person to live to 500 is alive now. That doesn't mean they are 500 now they could be 2 years old.

Hypothetically I could say "the first person yo go to Pluto is alive now" does that man some one has been to Pluto. No.

If you were one light year away from Earth, and you watched it with a telescope, you would see 2008.
