I would say that George Bush was a terrorist. He has one more damage to Iraq than anybody has ever done to America. Or Iraq for that matter.

George Bush isn't a fundamentalist, as he is still bound by law.

So suddenly you have to be a fundamentalist to be a terrorist? The term fundamentalist is applicable to many other things. Creationists are fundamentalists. Does that make them terrorists too? What about the other branches of terrorism that have nothing to do with fundamentalism, the IRA for example, by this definition they are not terrorists.

Geogre Bush has broken a fair few laws by invading Iraq based on false intelligence.

Another point, terrorists are still bound by law, they just choose to ignore them.

Well everyone starts off in a "communistic" belief but it gradually turns into socialism because as we know pure communism is really impossible because people are greedy for power. By the time the military takes over, it moves from socialism to militaristic dictatorship.

How can it start out as communist if pure communism has never been achieved?

I'm still confused by being told by two separate people that Socialim and communism are exact opposites. Can somebody tell me who's wrong here because I was always positive that communism was extreme socialism.

@ Cavier 1, you're correct. Marxism is a determinist view that states pure communism is inevitabble. On the road to communism , socialism is one of the stages. They are quite similar. They are definitely not opposites. Socialism is a system based on achieving a society without class conflict. Once that has been reached there will be no more need for centralised government and everyone can live in happy little communes, according to the theory.
