If you are an american who hates people calling soccer football then wikipedia football and see which one comes up?


It comes up with a disambiguation page of all football related sports including rugby and aussie rules etc. but hey, I agree with you its called football not soccer

World wide soccer is the most played. In America it's the NFL. And in Japan it's baseball.

Definitely soccer is the most popular sport world wide. But i don't agree that basket is the second sport, because in Australia, New Zealand, UK and France they don't like much basket

Soccer/football is statistically the most popular sport in the world. yeah not too much debating to be done.
but if you want to have friends, then play lacrosse!!!11!!!one!!1! everybody is doing it and if you dont then you will be less cool and not go to parties with chicks. dude!

definitely Soccer. most widely distributed sport in the world.

@ GAGAMEN: we can't really help it it has a different name here... in fact, I'd prefer it if it was called football, but for whatever reason, we're stuck with Soccer.
