Money; All war has money involved whether it's from the start or from half way through. Oil, some sort of resource comes into play no matter what. Your going to want to offer protection for the oil companies and the companies that have those resources so you can make cheaper trade for protecting them.
Power; Some but not all war is for power or the show that we are stronger. The 9/11 attacks on America showed that Al Queda has no fear of us. In our own hotheadedness we attacked back showing we have no fear of war and we control this our own way and will not be pushed around.
Religion Differences; Not alot of wars that involve America have this. But many middle eastern wars do. The ones that believe this land is our land and such over there own religious books but don't realize your just saying god in a different language. Isn't it not possible the two religions seen the same thing? Maybe different places different times.
Anyone else care to argue my points or just add to them?
Hitler was a male prostitute in Vienna. He condemned Poland's treatment of homosexuals, but as he was Roman catholic, he did not want to sin with homosexuality. That's why he sent homosexuals to death camps.
His primary reason for invading Poland and sparking WW2 was the treatment of gays, fair and simple.
No, it's really not the cause of all wars. The current war in Iraq is not about homosexuals. Why do you want to kill them?
The relative freedom of a newly democratic Iraq and the recent improvement in security have allowed a gay subculture to flourish here. The response has been swift and deadly.
Generally war is the result of a national entity wishing to improve the standard of living for its people. A major second cause is when a nation perceives a possible reduction in a current standard of living and fights to protect what it already has.
Fighting to prevent a reduction in living standards was the main reason the English entered both World Wars. Both wars saw the Germans advance into the Low Countries. The British saw this as a threat to their domination of the North Sea commercial district and fought to protect their position.
All nations look to their own self interest in the final analysis. None will willingly take a reduced standard of living without a fight. It is quite likely that the future will produce several major wars over oil, as this vital substance reaches its peak production and eventual decline. These wars by necessity will include the USA and others such as Japan, China, Russia, India, and the EU. All will fight to protect their peoples standard of living.
