Disagree... I disagree because sometimes pornography is good. For example, when you are at a Sperm Bank, where do you think the sperm came from? You probably would suggest that the male used pornography to masturbate causing the sperm to come out. So, pornography could be used for a good thing.
I would argue the production of animal porn is very prone to the maltreatment of said animals, and as such should not be legal.
I just think there needs to be more of an even standard, not an end to the use of animals.
And you wouldn't consider laboratory experimentation & death 'maltreatment'? I certainly would.. as such, I'd still side with the production of such pornography as legal and okay. My... 'evened' standard is in the other direction. Similarly with the seal/pig example, I would remove the impediments to the seal hunters, rather then impede the pig farmers.
You know there is also danger to humans? In Oregon a man died when having sex with a horse, the horse penis punctured his colon... and that is when Oregon stepped up and put a ban against bestiality.

Therefore, I don't perceive the benefit gained by a very small section of society due to animal porn to outweigh the negatives, namely the abuse of the animals. In the case of using animals as food sources and for experimentation, it is necessary.

I think if we are going to rear and kill animals, we have a responsibility of ensuring their life and death is bearable. That's just my stance though.

Well, I disagree. I would rather a handful of lesser creatures go through some discomfort (if it really even *is* abuse, which I don't think could even be properly measured; for all we know, the animals could very well enjoy the stimulation - my dog does enjoy humping the couch, I would be surprised if he wouldn't enjoy humping something alive) to increase the quality of life and subversion of sexual frustration that one might feel, and is relieved of, then deny them their chosen viewing material.

I guess that's where we differ. Humans are more important than animals, but the number of animals which would be harmed would be disproportionate to the number of humans that would benefit, which is reason enough for me to not condone animal porn.

For all we know they could suffer serious psychological damage. There are animals with which you would probably not know when they don't want it.

only from a religious stand point is it bad.. eh and maybe ethically.. depending on your morals.. i agree it is bad. i watch it, i would not star in a film nor would i be in the business.

Some sins are inferred. Torturing someone is a sin, but there is no commandment that says "Thou Shalt not Torture." Most sexual things are sins in Christian belief, pron being one of them.

If you're living in the United States or any province of it, that would be considered unconstitutional why because the first amendment sates: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
That basically says that porn being a form of speech constitutionally cannot be outlawed. As for the whole bible thing, i'll say this slowly so you understand...
Sorry for the double post but I forgot to say this... Explain to me how its legal yet against the law!? That my friend known as an oxymoron, unless of course you were referring to religious law which A. You probably weren't and B. can't be since there's many different systems of religious law in the world.

Your religion is never a valid argument when you are discussing with someone of different beliefs. It is a valid reason for you to think in a certain way if you really are that religious, but do not apply your religiously based views into an argument where not everyone is of your religion. It leads nowhere. (Same with evolutionists trying to discuss with creationists... It's just no good.)
Using it here to say: If pornography is against your religion in any way, stay away from it. Do not try to enforce people not following your religious beliefs to follow your religion's rules.
