North Korea has defied world powers and carried out and underground test of a nuclear device Russian officials said is comparable to the bombs that wiped out Hiroshima and Nagasaki. North Korea has already tested out a rocket and tensions are increasing between the world and the Communist state. So, what does everyone think to that. North Korea has been told time and time again to step down from producing nuclear weapons, but now it has apparently made a successful one. What do you see happening as a result of this?
The whole Iraq thing was pretty messed up but unfortunately you can't actually change the past but i think we've learned from our mistakes
Hopefully yea.
it seems the US is John McClane and the world is our Nakatomi plaza. Saddam was that one blonde german guy karl with the steyr aug and bin laden is Hans Gruber. We go in, we get all bloodied, get glass stuck in our feet, and kill everybody while yellin Yippee-ki-yay mother f-er
That's quite possibly the best/most accurate analogy ever. I've always thought of the USA as Bruce Willis btw.
Not many people know this, so I'm gonna say it. North Korea's leader is a dictator. I actually think North Korea will use the nukes, probably against the U.S, since it is the most hated country(and has the weakest economy) in the world.
Omg, no way?!? That changes everything, we must attackkkkkkkkkk.
We attack Attack, attack your fetal servitude We attack Attack, attack, attack with pesticide We attack All the years of propaganda We shall attaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! /offtopic ---- Iraq was a pretty big mistake.
North Korea has one of the worst nuclear system in the world. (Don't say I'm wrong. My dad was military intelligence for 9 years.) We have nothing to fear...yet.
The nuke test takes place out of no where, along with the test of three short range missles. This is hardly a threat to any one country at this point in time because:
Number One: North Korea may have arms grade plutonium, but they don't have any long range delivery systems other than the Taepodong-2 which when tested impacted about 2400 miles from the launch site.
Number Two: North Korea has yet to figure out how to put a nuclear device and a long range missle together.
Even if their tests are successful they lack the long range capability to deliver a nuke, and the country is so poor that a more plausible threat would be N. Korea attempting to sell some of their plutonium to another country in order to fund their nuclear program.
As far as I can tell this is nothing more than muscle flexing from N. Korea and maybe a slap in the face to pressure from the UN to stop their attemps on nuclear proliferation.
Besides, NK claims that they just want the Nuclear power to power things.
haha i didn't know that blowing up nuclear bombs provided electricity hmm i'll have to try that next time the power goes out
That's quite possibly the best/most accurate analogy ever. I've always thought of the USA as Bruce Willis btw.
surprisingly die hard fits in extremely well i was gonna keep going with the analogy but i think most people would have lost interest besides me and you firefly lol
I just think it's completely hypocritical the US is condemning North Korea's nuclear programme, when they are just as agressive and have been for over 50 years. What should be condemned is the human rights record of the country, not its nuclear capabilities.

Lol. Now I'm trying to figure out how the sequels fit into it. So far, I see Die hard 1 as WW1. McClabe pretty much being forced to get ivolved as he was provoked and then kicking everyone's a**. Die Hard 2 coulld be WW2 as it's a similar layout. Can't decide on Die Hard 3, Col War perhaps?
I think the reason we are condemning it is not just on the fact that it is a nuclear program, but the fact that they are developing a nuclear program and a military, while their people are starving and living horribly.
It's based on what they are doing relatively. And they are obviously doing it as a threat, it's not like Iran that had the intentions of a nuclear power program, and that they are actually a developed nation that is at the point where it's logical to develop some nuclear programs. North Korea is nowhere near that point.
