Ok, well our president Barrack Obama decided to play golf on Memorial Day. Instead of going to some prayer for a soliders who died, he played golf. The reason you probably haven't heard this is because he told the media not to cover it. Somehow somebody published a paper about it, and it got out. This realy pisses me off, how about you?
If it is true (the media don't tell always the truth). It was a bad idea. For some people is it an important day and he is going to golf. He is a president. A president must care about his people.
my school runs this news, "channel 1" OMG. their parent company is NBC, which is relativly liberal. Didnt mention a thing about the manhatan incident.
The manhattan incident was when obama wanted a really cool pic of airforce 1 to show off, so he got airforce one and 2 fighter jets (dunno wat type) to fly above NYC. Ofcourse everyone down their thought it was 9-11 all over. there pics/vids of people running in the streets screaming, crying, and, probaly the most disturbing, was this guy in a really nice suit, just laying in the gutters with a blank face. creepy. in the end, obama got napoliano(?) to apoligize, not him. he doesnt seem to be showing a care about the american people.

It was a bit of a bad choice on his part to go play golf, but it's already done and over with. After all we're all human, just as much as Obama. I think he's got a few things to learn still but he is the most powerful man in the US and quite possibly the world at the moment, not a job I'd want to take in a million years, so if the man want's to play a round of golf on a day off just to get away for two or three hours let him...

It's job that teaches as you go along and I think he's entitled to a few misakes. Yeah it was a major screw up with the photo opp. as Maverick stated but this wasn't all that terrible.
Obama laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery, a customary presidential undertaking on Memorial Day. He also had one sent to the Confederate Memorial there, a traditional practice but not well publicized. Obama also took the unprecedented step of sending a wreath to the African American Civil War Memorial in Washington's historically black U Street neighborhood.

its like a holiday of sorts, yes we remember them everyday, or atleast i do (got a cousin and uncle in Iraq), but its a national holiday so that Americans can unify and remember them together, rather than them all going over the course of the year.

Learn to read an article fully before you post. He didn't know about this, as it was organized by the director of the White House Military office. The mayors office WAS notified before the incident, as well as the police. However, they're was the slight problem that they weren't allowed to notified the public, which was a mistake. Still, this whole idea that Obama was directly responsible for the flyover because he "wanted to have a really cool pic of airforce 1 to show of" is ridiculous, and trust me, if I was in a flaming mode right now I'd be using a few more words than that to describe just how wrong that idea is. Before you say "he's the president, he should know", think about the sheer immensity of things going on in the government, and how the hell could he possibly know about each and every one?

Are you sure it wasn't a cartoon animation of him? Check to make sure the sun didn't have a smiley face. On topic, I don't think Obama did this, especially since DDX says he saw him on TV, but if he did, I think it's very disgraceful. As I said, he probably didn't. He'd just go golfing the day before or the day after.
