Right, now we have your attention, (badly drawn) Zophia wants to tell you something:
(Well actually, we aren't, but we're hosting a story-telling competition in which you get to create and play a character who wants to become a mod...but if you do good you might score a role in a GAME. OR AN ANIMATION. HOW EPIC IS THAT OMG!?)
Some of you may ask "well why are you making this thread!?" It's because Cenere and I, in our infinite wisdoms, acknowledge that many people would like to read about the WoM but not necessarily take part in it. This is the thread in which you can speculate about it without having to set foot in that godforsaken Art forum, where deadlines automatically lengthen by a random power of e, and the natural laws of spam are inverted!
(Also if you don't go to the art forums regularly but you're still interested IN BEING PART OF EPIC WIN, this is our way of letting you know about it. Think about it!)
hmm...so may we use the characters based off of ourselves...or are there really any rules to the creation of the characters I should know about before sending an e-mail to ya?

Strop says it should follow the OffAGChara thread, and it would be nice to have your AG char. But, well, take a look at the Recruitment post, I think he specified it there. But otherwise no, unless we will let you know.
If I have the time, I'll make an animation entry along with my reference.
Ok first off sorry... always good to start something potentially dumb with an apology. Also I'll post here instead if the "roper" thread so I don;t spam it up (me, spam? maybe once or twice... all the time) so here goes....
Does the character have to be an official/existing character or can I make something up for it if I decide to enter? I'm thinking of writing a story so one day my charcter will (hopefully) be ofocial but write now he is pure abstarct fiction)
again sorry for potentially being dumb but I read the whole thread and FAQ etc. and was still kinda confused about it..... sorry. <hugs pillow and waits for angry answer>
It would be nice with an AG character (someone named like you), but as it is, there should be nothing hindering you in entering any character, as long as they follow the guidelines. Since the setting is AG, the first would be the best, though. But up to you as it is (Strop said "a team" as well, which means that made up characters unrelated to your username is acceptable, but I will ask him).
*end angry* lol just kidding. Wasn't a dumb question Pixie. And to roll it in with Crimsonblade's question:
hmm...so may we use the characters based off of ourselves...or are there really any rules to the creation of the characters I should know about before sending an e-mail to ya?
To be completely honest with you, what I would like would be a representation of your "ersona" as a user on AG. Why? Because whatever project I'll be doing based on WoM will be specifically focused on portraying the community of AG.
Thus really, my judgement of who to include and in what role would be on how interesting and convincing your character is as a reflection of you, the user.
You don't need to do this strictly though, you can create a completely fictional character which may end up being a well-known fictional figure of the AG forums (e.g. Adam's Rawr, Cholokid's George, Crimsonblade's Sasquatch & Yeti)
Re: teams, yes, you may use teams and create multiple characters for this purpose. However, for the actual stages, you will need ONE central character and only THAT one character will take the trials.
Unless you're like Pazx and you can't tell which or even how many users are controlling a single account, which is to say that the team always acts in the guise of a single 'account' anyway.
So Pazx should be like, covered in cloth so no one ever sees the face, and... Hmm, nope, no problem with hiding breasts for the female part if they're as young as they say... But lulz.

This seems like a good idea. I was thinking of making a thread to record events in the WoM, but it looks like you already did(I think). Also, I iz enteren whit mah sky-pirate Frank.

I'd definitely be interested in joining. I've never really drawn characters outside of a piece setting so it'd be a good way to start methinks. Has the thread been created in the art forum yet?, will check now.
it wouldn't be a mary-sue or god-modding if I make a fish-man who is an adept kickboxer would it? I'm fairly sure it's not god-modding, But I'm fuzzy on the concept of mary-sues.
