I'd have to say Lycans. Vampires can't touch running water, holy water, and most importantly, VAMPIRES CAN'T EAT PIZZA! Lycan's can do all that and tear vamps limb from limb.
I agree with Kipdon, Lycans are better. I mean being weak against Holy Water,Garlic,and Wooden stakes suck... But being weak to silver ware is even worse though. I mean somebody could stick a silver spoon into Lycan's throat and kill it. But that's just what i hear.
Actually, most silverware nowadays is made of nickel and zinc. Real SILVERware is extremely expensive. Also, Lycans are weakened by silver, not necessarily killed by it.
nWoD-critters, because the legends are too mixed, and then in a fight? Hmm, since it would be utterly stupid for both of them to reveal themselves, and that a real fight would damage them both, I would say not gonna happen. The Vampires can overcome most of their weaknesses if they choose the right things to learn, and the werewolves can't really do that...
Lycans: weaknesses: silver (only acts as regular weapons would work on people), flesh starvation, nothing else. Strengths: intelligent, strength of 20 men, 3 times the size of a human, a big wolf, sunlight only makes them sleepy less intelligent and less strong, claws, teeth, change humans to lycans by any wound, insanely fast heeling, intimidation, control over canines.
vampires: weaknesses: garlic, wooden steaks, silver steaks, holy water, holy relic, light, blood starvation, only changes others to vampires by a bite and they have to stop drinking the blood, obsessed with untying knots, rose petals, running water, cannot cross a threshold unless invited, cannot eat (their digestive system does not work, have to sleep in a freezer so they won't decay, and a lot more I can't remember. Strengthens: strength of 7 men, mist form, bat form, control over most animals, will not age (not immortal), smart, no reflection, blood frenzy (go insane at the sight of blood if they are suffering from blood starvation, fast heeling.
