Im absoulutly amazed by this culture. With their 12 major gods and 12 minor gods. And all the stories and legends that go into. And how their no heaven. Just mount olyumpus. And everybody goes to the underworld. What are your thoughts on this culture?

I have age of mythology and its a great game. god of war is a indeed a really good game.

i dont believe in any of it but it is awesome to read... plus god of war games are amazing

I think it's amazingly cool to research. I don't believe any of it, but, then again, I don't believe in Christianity either. It's outdated, and I don't know of any sane people actually believing in it any more, but it makes for great reading.

It's a hobby like any other. >_> Really nothing to go wide-eyed at~ Greek mythology is one of the rather interesting ones.
Though Ase-tro (Danish word for it, can't remember the English name) is more interesting to me, but that may just be because of origin and stuff...

Jesus.

I love viking mythology also and it doesn't mean I must die and kill with my sword to go heaven. Or egypcian, really sweet and nice, and I won't read a book for prepare my self against a God judgement.


It's just culture<----. There are things that all people should know, and greek mithology is one of those. It teachs you lot of stuff, also new points of view, that aren't "new".


So don't be lame saying stupid things. It's culture, and all people should know it. I think near all people here studied it at primary-high school.

well mythology is quiet related to greece,Planets and elements on the earth have many gods

98% are Greek Orthodox but I can't find who/what youa re replying to... anyway Greek Mythology and the Greek gods are are an old religion. It may still be respected but I don't think many still worship them (though as you said it would be useful for Goumas to clarify)
