Wow, it really has been too long since I last drew her... Not a squirrel, an anthropomorphic mazzelh. Not sure what you're referring to when you say "what's with", but it's either something about the sketchy pose or the "there's only two toes, correct?
I thought it was the positioning at first though. Until I read his post again. I realized that he meant the feet/foot, toes...At least, we know what he meant know. =D
Aw, but they're not really any more human-esque than the rest of her... Opinion, of course, but... Well yeah. Three-fingered hands, two-fingered toes, a humanish build, long tail, muchly different head... *shrug*
In this case, it is specifically a mazzelh given human qualities - a humanoid body-shape and more recognizable speech and behaviour than a normal mazzelh would exhibit.
A normal mazzelh could also be called anthropomorphic, as they're capable of what we label as sentient thought and can learn to speak understandable languages, but in the general setting of my little fantasy worlds this is not considered a human-specific trait, so applying the term anthropomorphic there feels a bit redundant.
