What's UPA I have no idea it's barely understand able. Please tell me someone ANYONE.
Also when your *****ing about spelling make sure you PROPERLY SPELL.
And why is spelling so big an issue in debating especially if it's still understandable
"upa" is "up a" without a space His post was understandable This on the other hand
Then how could you say anything that has been *scientificly* proven be true. Some thing were proven true by science has been proven right has been reproven wrong. For ex. How Albert Einstein proved whats hin name that (I forget the guys name) That stars move towards the light. When before it was thought it was common sense that light doesn't aflict the course of stars.
I had to read about 3 times to understand what you were trying to say.
PROPERLY SPELL
By the way, spell properly would be more grammatically correct.
wow....ok can we get back to talking about religion and god and things that this thread was designed for? If you wanna talk about grammar i'm sure no one will mind if you create an "I'm a grammar nerd!" thread.
2. It's not because of spelling you had trouble with it's the concept. If it was the spelling please point out ALL the words that or so horribly spelt
1. Sarcastic about what, please specify 2. Try the second sentence, terrible grammar

Patriotboy1 was the one who brought up poor grammar, I was just responding to his post
well, can you think of any other men at the time who were not only creating a ne religion but essentially changing one that had already been established? if i were one of the romans, and there was a man that wanted to change the meaning of what i believed in, my label and essentially my name, i would totally want him erased from history so no one else got that idea.
Did you actually read the link? It was talking about historians during that time period, not the Roman Government.
They wouldn't have because doing so would have been against the law at the time. the government threatened the historians of the time. And why should a historian risk his neck just he can document the life of a blasphomer(which was what jesus was viewed as).

If jesus was real he would have been an important figure at the time, why would they risk their neck to document others but not him?

fine but don't start a grammar debate in a religious debate thread. either start a new thread about it or just deal with the fact that people are far from perfect.

That goes for you too, if you're so ticked about people correcting your poor grammar(no offense), then start a new thread about it!
Ok I'd like tell everyone this that's not a link a link is something you can click on and go their instantly (or that's the kind of link I meant.
2. On this site my forum is horribly slow in refreshing but in other forums it's fast. (wierd I know).
@HiddenDistance:The romans have deleted people from their censuses.SO they might have deleted Jesus Christ to.
Hmm on this forum I cant copy on others I can (another wierd thing).Trust me I tried to.
You say I don't focus on the horrible stuff where people get blown to bits ect... Well you dont focus on miracles (or things that shouldn't have happened).
And the Romans really were general believers of the bible (except for the Jewish parts). Crucification wasn't in the bible but it was a punishment. THE ROMANS DIDN'T WANT TO BUT THEY FELT THEY HAD TO DO THAT TO JESUS CHRIST.
I read read and reread my *horrible grammar* I didn't find anything wrong with it I was being sarcastic about the upa part obviously. And HiddenDistance brought up grammar first yesterday not me.

that's unnecessary, PLEASE! no one comment on this...*hopes people will have the sense to listen to this*

Easily. Jesus was not the first claimaint to be the jewish messiah (and not the last for that matter). Judas, son of Hezekiah, Simon, son of Joseph, and Athronges all made the claim before Jesus.

Please provide detailed examples.
Well you dont focus on miracles (or things that shouldn't have happened).
I already told you I thought of them as coincidence, or luck. I don't see them as miracles. As such... it's just a thing.. that happened. No big deal - well, not for me anyway; I'll never know any of those 12 people & whether they live or die has little impact on my life. Sorry.

Get your time period right bud. Ever hear of "Throw the christians to the lions"? That was a roman thing - in the colliseum. The "Holy" roman empire came after. Early A.D. roman society did *not* believe in the teachings of the old, or new testaments.
And HiddenDistance brought up grammar first yesterday not me.
Yeah, because it was so bad I had no idea what you were trying to say. Which was a veiled suggestion to fix it - and you never did, and your new posts are still wrought with errors. Use a spelling/grammar check!
Again, why would the Romans delete such an important target form their census? They would be more likely to consider it a victory that they would want in their census, not something to be deleted.

(except for the Jewish parts).
ALL OF THE BIBLE WAS JEWISH. The Old Testament and the Torah were the exact same thing.
