Dystopia's chilled out some, so I decided to create a side-project RPG.
The name, the story, all of it is based on a very early plot event, so hold onto your seats and wait.
First, you start with a Requisitions List from the kingdom you fight for. (This is more a more medieval RPG, btw.) You an get a main weapon, an accessory, and a set of armor. They have different stats, and some weapons/armors will disallow you from getting an accessory. Speeds denote how fast a weapon or armor is.
Speeds(only armors grnt evasion chance, and only weapons can be used to attack >.>: Quite Quick: Can use to attack 6 times per turn/35% chance to evade enemy attack Very Fast: Can use to attack 5 times/25% chance to evade enemy attack Fast: Can use to attack 4 times/15% chance to evade enemy attack Medium: Can use to attack 3 times/10% chance to evade enemy attack Slow: Can use to attack 2 times/5% chance to evade enemy attack Liek, Srsly Slow(abbreviated LSS): Can attack once/no chance to evade enemy attack
Weapons: Basic Spear: 3 atk, good reach, fast Light Spear: 2 atk, good reach, quite quick Heavy Spear: 4 atk, good reach, slow Steel Sword: 4 atk, medium reach, very slow Light Blade: 3 atk, medium reach, slow Hefty Blade: 10 atk, medium reach, LSS Short Bow: 4 atk, long range, slow Long Bow: 6 atk, very long range, LSS (Note: Arrows come with the bow) Curved Blade: 4 atk, short reach, quite quick
Heavy Weapons: Warhammer: 8 atk, good reach, LSS Poleaxe: 10 atk, great reach, LSS Halberd: 11 atk, good reach, LSS Scythe: 13 atk, medium reach, LSS
Ultra weapons(if you choose one, no accessory): Crossbow: 15 atk, super-long range, slow Katana: 14 atk, medium reach, very fast Windcutter(sends out shockwaves after swing): 17 atk, great reach, fast Arm Blades: 18 atk, short reach, very fast Magic Staff: variable attack, variable reach, variable speed (can upgrade spells according to level)
Armor:
Light armor: 1 def, quite quick Pliable Armor: 2 def, medium Heavy armor: 4 def, very slow
The shockwaves form the windcutter knocks the golem over onto Wileix. You pierce the golem's heart, and you and SA push the corpse off him. The golem is dead!
It lets out a dying scream, which alerts the bringers of the mist. . . .
Three cloaked men appear, and walk into the fort. Your head begins to uncontrollably throb, and your vision blurs. The cloaked men take out what appear to be daggers, and stab you in the back.
You lose consciousness. . . .
There's nothingness all around and in you, smothering and enclosing you. Then, this sheet is pierced, by an extreme pain. The pain opens your eyes. All three of you are on altars, in a strange temple. A hooded man walks up to each one of you to kill you, but then an odd feeling wells up inside of you. You burst from your ties, youir vision glazes over, and you lose yourself.
When you awake, the man next to you is dead. The on enxt to Wileix is sliced to bits, as if chopped by a bladed weapon. But the katana is nowhere to be found. SA's supposed killer has a split running from his shoulder to his leg - from an arm blade. But once again, his weapon is gone. And the man next to Rious is bruised heavily, as if hit with a shockwave. Yet the windcutter has disappeared.
The men performed a strange ritual on you. They tok the soul embedded in youir weapons and infused the wespons and their essence into you. You've been weaponized.
With this comes advantages and disadvantages - you're more powerful. Much more. But you have a hard time controlling the surfacings of the weapon's essence - it's emergence isn't always a good thing. Your disposition affects the stat boosts from the weapon's infusion, as well as how the essence of the weapon affects you in regular activity in life. Boisterous people will have more slips of the tongue and other problems(which can really screw you up sometimes) , pensive people strike a balance, and friendy individuals will have almost no problems, but get less stat boosts. Of course, since that was just the prologue, you can choose to change your disposition.
New sheet template:
Name: Age: Disposition: Equipment: *armor (stats) *accessory (stats) Infused Weapon: *skill 1 *skill 2 *etc. Control Meter(how close you are to losing control and going Rambolawl):
Name: Age: Disposition: Equipment: *armor (stats) *accessory (stats) Infused Weapon: *skill 1 *skill 2 *etc. Control Meter(how close you are to losing control and going Rambolawl): Good: Evil:
You can adapt and learn skills, like special attacks and stuff >.>
That's what the skills mean.
All three of you feel pulsing pain in your arms as you stumble out of the facility. Coming to dead end after dead end, you finally negotiate yourself to the door. Oddly, there is only one guard. He seems. . .abnormal. You walk past him, and he springs to life, attacking the three of you.
Kaiser Inferi vs. you guys
**NOE: As your first real battle, you have HP. You each start with 100 HP, and you develop more as you level up.
Name: SA60 Age: 15 Disposition: Pensive Light Armor: 1 def, QQ Infused Weapon: Arm Blades Control Meter: - Good: [50] Evil: [50] ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Now that I'm finished drinking my pink lemonade (just to get out of the situation, this was a potion boosting my speed in the next battle), I charge the guard who will be momentarily stunned by my awesome non-afk-ness. I stab him multiple times and get ready to jump out of the way (I use my lightness and quickness)
You enter battle, and your arms reach a peak of pain. You have slight palpitations in your arms - you can feel the blood pumping through. Suddenly, your weapons seemingly ooze through your skin, but they look. . .different. As if they were. . .reforged. The blades appear obsidian in look, with fault lines running up and down them.
You take your arm blades, which appear to be fastened to your skin without needing to be put on as normal, and point your elbow towards the guard to stab it. You stab it multiple times, and the creature stumbles slightly. but it just groans, and straightens up again. It took a total of 34 damage.
You slash at it's throat with your katana, which seems to be a part of your hand, and cut it's throat. It takes 37 damage, and it's head is almost cut off.
To all three of you guys: when your weapons are drawn, it appears almost as if the weapons sort of grow out of your arms - you see a rush of liquefied metal come up through your arm, and your weapon materializes from it. It only hurts the first time, because the nerves in your arm got used to it. Basically, there have been major physiological changes in your body to allow the weapon to be infused. You feel less pain, you're stronger, and more durable.
Could you also please include your HP on your sheet? Thanks.
The creature draws a crooked blade, and strikes SA for 13 damage.
Name: SA60 Age: 15 Health: [87|100] Disposition: Pensive Light Armor: 1 def, QQ Infused Weapon: Arm Blades Control Meter: - Good: [50] Evil: [50] ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Hmm... some1 has been playing Prototype an X-Men origins *cough-alt-cough* pretty cool though. I jump and finish off his head with a quick x-cut with my arm blades.
And it's pretty different - you're just one-third weapon now :P
You jump towards the creature and do an x-cut. It finishes it's head off, and it falls to the ground. Then, the creature lets out a guttural moan. The hole from it's neck opens more, and out springs an odd demonlike being. It appears to be made from the remnants of the guard's skeleton, but the head is. . .demonic. Not human. And in it's left hand, it holds a spear made of fused bone. The thing cackles, but appears limited, because it's still inside the guard's corpse. It's being both limited and protected by it. . . .
