What do you guys think of his very sad memorial? It summed his life up well . . . there was a lot of celebrity appearances. I think Brooke Shields did the best job of "humanizing" Micheal. Here is a link to watch the full memorial. . . .

she should of gotten more "coverage" of her death cuz she had a life threatening disease


That's why she didn't get more coverage. His was so unexpected and tragic, while people were expecting hers.

worse way to die than from someone who was a drug addict


He had problems with drugs, but it was partially the doctors fault for prescribing them to him when they knew he had abused them in the past. He had even had to cancel a tour in the past to get treatment.

He only did it once out of pure excitement. It's not like he does it regularly for fun, he did it once and you can tell he knew he made a mistake the second he put the baby out there. He pulled it back in a second.

You obviously know nothing about the case. He was cleared on all charges. Also, most those parents were already complete nutjobs. One had sued JC Penny, claiming a security guard sexually assaulted her when she was caught shoplifting. Also, the kids admitted that he didn't do anything.

Woah, no. Michael was more successful after the Jackson 5 than all of his siblings, Farrah, and Billy put together. After all

I only heard like 5 minutes of news talking about Farrah's or Billy's death and the rest was on MJ


Proof of how more successful he was. There is no one else in the world that could steal the spot light like his death did.

we are talking about human beings here and no matter how succesful they were in there life, their lives are not worth any more or less then the life of every other person.


That value of their life may not be different, but their impact on people is. Michael had much more of an impact on everyone, good or bad, than your redneck cousin who sits in his trailer and drinks beer all day. Michael deserves to be remembered.

i think its pretty sad that in our society you rank the value of a person by the popularity he had and the money he gained.

you have your opinion and I have mine...I said what I wanted to say and Im proud of what I said. Alot of people I know agree with me so everyone who doesnt agree with my opinion go ahead and discuss it with yourselfs. I wasted enough time of my life with this...

This guy was JUST a singer. How come Ronald Reagans' memorial wasn't this huge. HE actually made a difference in the world, much more of one than Michael Jackson. Did we see HIS daughters' reaction days after the service. No we didn't! Get over him, he wasn't that great.

He was a singer who did amazing things. Without him MTV, and music in general, wouldn't have many black people.

How come Ronald Reagans' memorial wasn't this huge. HE actually made a difference in the world, much more of one than Michael Jackson.


Ronald Reagan wasn't someone everyone could like though. In politics you're never going to get someone everyone likes. While in Michael's case nearly everyone liked him if they knew the details of his life.
