For many years the neighbors to the south have faced political turmoil and corruption, with drug wars spilling into the streets of major cities.

Poor, uneducated mexicans and their families cross the border from an unauthorized zone. They will climb mountains, cross rivers, and run from the authorities to make it into the US.

Of course, once they're in they have no money or job. So what do they do? They move into poor communities. They get menial jobs, ones that college students attempt to get. They force teenagers looking for work to quit as they accept lower wages.

Many times, illegals will rape, murder, steal and trade drugs in utter disregard for the rule of the law. They put their undisciplined children into our schools, where they will cause trouble as they have zero interest to learn.

Whose going to take care of them when a crime happens? When they go to jail? When they go to court? When they are hurt? Who pays for their attorneys, their medical bills or their protection when they will break the law at will?

We, the American citizens do. In many states, they get full benefits of citizenship without the extra responsibilities and without paperwork calling them a citizen.

I pay my taxes, I vote, I work hard to put food on the table and keep a roof over my head. Why should my job be stolen from someone who illegally entered this country? Why should my hard-earned money be given to someone who breaks the law?

The constitution says we must guarantee the rights of citizens, not illegals.

I saw place a really big minefield, and then post signs every 50 ft that say WARNING: MINES in spanish.

Yeah, that wall was great...

The only downside people can think of to not having a good border is not having as much cheap labor.

The pros outweigh the cons so far people.

At least in the United States these families with no other options have a chance to work hard and make something of themselves! We grant amnesty to Mexicans who have been hiding here and working for 5 years, so it's almost like we're encouraging them not to get caught! I say we should elminate the border! These poor Mexicans live in a country where capitalism has clearly failed them!

But that is stupid and we shouldn't do that. It's an idiot move on the part of the U.S.

And if life sucks in mexico then that is to bad for them. They don't get to ruin life in America just because mexico sucks.

My life is perfectly fine and there are still Mexicans coming in the U.S. And every single Mexican is poor, in capitalism you get a small group of rich people.

My life is perfectly fine and there are still Mexicans coming in the U.S. And every single Mexican is poor, in capitalism you get a small group of rich people.


huh where do you live montana? I live in a town populated by mexicans. (Huge town, i dont really live on the mexi side, but they still hang out by where most of the whiteys live.) Ive been jumped by mexicans before, and i can say my life has changed since theyve been here. Not only life in my neighberhood, but even at the movie theatre its ridiculous, most of them sneak in and just cause chaos.

What is your job, exactly? Are you a pig farmer? Do you work in a menial construction job or pick fruit? Illegal immigrants are not taking the jobs that people actually want to have.


With how hard it is to get a job these days, im sure a lot of highschool kids would be happy to have these jobs.

I didn't know you have racist thoughts about Mexicans because a random gang jumped you. If they were black you'd hold no end of animosity towards say blacks moving into the country. If it was a white gang then what would you say? There is no difference, gangs are gangs. Just because they're Mexican it won't make them nice or bad people. Believe it or not there are Blacks, Whites and Asians that are BAD people too.

And if most of them just sneak in and cause chaos, we might as well admit all Mexicans that want to live here and ensure that they have a legit background. If not, throw them out! All I'm saying is that we should ease immigration, not make it harder.
