Yea its spelled cadvor I think. What do you mean by hurt? Like pain hurt or econmiclly hurt? Both would be bad. Pain is like terrorism and economical will take a huge chunk out of the economy of America and possibly the world, both of which can't take that kind've hit.

Ah, but what about the people who hunt and keep the animals they kill for meat? Are they bad? No. And sport hunting, quite frankly, helps keep the population of the hunted animals down and keep them out of civilized areas. I don't believe you want bears roaming the streets.
Eco-terrorism is just as bad in the eyes of the rest of the world as any other kind of terrorism. I have made it my mission in life to flush out and eliminate anyone who threatens my family and my country. Considering a sizable number of my family members are sport hunters, it would appear eco-terrorists are a threat to them. Considering my second cousin twice removed (Seriously, I've met him but I'm not getting any money from him >_&gt owns a meat packing plant, he's in danger. Considering the fact that meat is one of our nation's larger industries, attacks on the meat industry are attacks on our nation's economy. Therefore, I must fight eco-terrorism or fail in my life mission. Plus the fact that 80% of my diet is animal products, probably makes me a prime target, too. You'll make me stop eating meat when you kill me.

To Skipper: The reason I don't see eye to eye with you is the fact that I don't want to go into a radical phase. Yes I eat meat and yes I'm angrey at animal abuse but that doesn't mean you have to hurt/kill someone over it. Now if you want to protest, in a law-abiding way, than I'm fine and it's perfectly cool but If you want to go and hurt someone over this, then tell me how you are different from Al-Queada or any other terrorist organization.

If you only eat meats nothing else: carnivore. If you eat meats and plants and stuff: Omnivore. If you only eat plants no meat at all: Herbivore, Vegatarian, Vegan.

Nurvana, how would you like it if a new spiecies, stronger and smarter than humans, and started killing us, by beating us to death, or stabbing us, by the thousands, for food? Would you be fine, because it was for FOOD? For them to keep everyone happy?

animal slaughter is ok if it is to keep the numbers down or for food, but killing endangered animals is not right

Ah, but hojoko, we'd be able to fight back. It would cause a massive war involving losses on both sides, unless they were able to survive nuclear war. We're strong enough that we'd be able to fight them. It's a moot point, however, because sentient beings should be able to keep themselves from eating other sentient beings.

I think Hojoko is just refering, in general, that if a more advanced species thats stronger, faster and just better than us started eating us would we really be okay with it? Correct me if I'm wrong Hojoko.

This is the sentence that Skipper said that made me want to get into this debate: "The way that you are talking you sound like a Satanist"

That was TOTALLY uncalled for. We are talking about animal slaughter not the principals of Satanism. So don't be bringing up false prejudices about MY religion.

And as for my views on Veggies, I think it's all rather pointless. Even if you stop eating meat it's not going to stop animals getting killed. I'm against overkilling but I think we should kill them in a clean way for eating.
