Now, as a suggestion from Randy, a fractal contest is upon you. You will have one week to create a fractalistic masterwork for me to judge. I'll crown a winner, do some honorable mentions, and all that jazz. There will be no themes or constraints - any fractal program, any scripts, anything. This contest is the canvas, your program the paint.

Now, let the fractacularness begin!

So do I. Go to the editor and move the triangles around a bit. Get a good look. Remember, you can move the points around as well. Another tool is mutation. Have it edit the image for you ; ).


How do you save the mutation?
When I select one of the 9 triangles, new images appear but the flame doesn't change...

That's tripping awesome @ Afro.
Poison's is very creative as well.
But tbh i like tsl3's alot. the blank- background doesn't bother me at all, but then again i don't fractal so i really dont know much.

Maybe i should give Apophysis a go sometime.

I used Fractal Works for the first one and XaoS (Mac only) for the second and third one.

did you add the effects in the program? You're only allowed to use tools in the fractal program itself :/
