If there were to be a nuclear war, do you think that the government would evacuate cities and send people to fallout shelters? Or would they just ensure the safety of political party members and people like the president and let everyone else die? Or would they ensure the safety of both?
The the richest of the capitalists would be ensured safety. Everyone else would be deemned as less important, that's just how capitalism works fellas'.
We'd be out of luck. Unless we can afford our own personal fall out shelter. The government would tell us to just "Stay in our houses, do not open windows, and if possible go to the basement".
Well, every man from age 18-35 would join the army, kind of like WWII. And it'd be a battle between Russia an the USA. Russia's got 10,000 nuclear warheads, USA's got 14,000's. But wars suck so don't go making all these threads about it.
It doesn't matter how many each country has, as it will only take a fraction of that to win or lose.
Yes but advantage goes to russia as there country is about twice the size as the US, and Russia could kill tens of millions of people by bombing places like New York.
The only people that would be evacuated are the elite, it would be to expensive to evacuate the working class.
Do you live in a dictatorship, cause that sounds like a dictatorship run country. I believe the USA army would put a almost large effort to getting the public to safety.
It doesn't matter how many each country has, as it will only take a fraction of that to win or lose.
how can you possibly win in a nuclear war? if this should ever happen, mankind will lose. probably forever.
I believe the USA army would put a almost large effort to getting the public to safety.
where do you think safety would be. as long as the us governement is not building shelters somewhere beneath the mountains for hundreds of millions of people, chances are pretty good that noone survives the nuclear war.
so lets just hope that our leaders will never use the warheads they have.
world would be much better of without them anyways
One of the things about nuclear war that many people don't know is the fact that even if all of the missile bases in the U.S. and elsewhere were destroyed, we still have bunches of missiles out in our submarines, ready to fire on other targets. Nuclear bombs have come a long way since they were first used. The first few nuclear weapons had blasts in the 20-40 kiloton range. Now it's millions of times that.
