I wrote a review for demolition city one day. I ended up recieving a merit for it. The 2 people after me said get a life dont write 10 sentences. then one person left a comment on my profile saying: Stop looking at the bad side of games just play them and enjoy like your supposed to
I've seen lots of posts like this after i see a merit worthy review. It seems like no one appreciates giving detail in a review
If you received a merit obviously someone appreciated it. There are always going to be people who don't know anything about AG though and are just here to spam and say "nice game!!".
Yeah, it doesn't matter what the members think, as long as the game creator sees it. That's what it's all about. It helps the creator to see the glitches, flaws, bad parts of the game, etc. So ignore the spammers, their opinions mean nothing. The only opinion that counts is the one that created the game.
Don't care about what they say, the important thing is that you are proud of earning a merit of writing a good game review, cause that means that you may help the game developer or an other player to enjoy more the game.
It doesn't matter. Good reviews are what this website needs and of course it does help the developers if they choose to read it.
However I've had a merit-worthy comment floating around for like a month on what was a new game on the front page... haven't seen any merits added on that game -.- lol but it doesn't matter.
Strange, I would guess they don't come in the forums much. I don't look at the comments after my longer reviews (I might have to start now though >.>. Remember that the purpose of a comment is to give feedback to the people who made the game. The more detail you put in the more it helps them improve future games.
I have also to say that though I have earned 2 merits for games the best moment was when a game developer answered to my comment and he said that he was glad that I liked the game. So writing good reviews is wonderful.
Mostly, the people who say that are the ones who are foolish or incapable of writing a merit worthy comment themselves. Why are they insulting you over ten sentences? Some people write reviews of over six hundred words.
Just, ignore. You did a good job anyway, since you actually got rewarded with a merit.
Hmmm... I find a lot of people who write on the comments to be mostly annoying and immature anyway. So why let people who are immature bother you? They write things like "GAY" and "STUPID GAME" all the time.

Most likely a moderator/admin. Though the creator of Battle Gear actually saw the comment I made. It didn't get a merit, (because Zophia said it wouldn't because I posted it in a thread and she found it there) but the creator of the game actually replied to me on my profile.
i appreciate a good comment and review but i dont know where the "up arrow beside the comment" is. it would be kind if someone told help turn someones comment into a merit.
