I wrote a review for demolition city one day. I ended up recieving a merit for it. The 2 people after me said get a life dont write 10 sentences. then one person left a comment on my profile saying: Stop looking at the bad side of games just play them and enjoy like your supposed to
I've seen lots of posts like this after i see a merit worthy review. It seems like no one appreciates giving detail in a review
Reason they don't go on the forums- THEY SHUN THE LOGIC. Serisouly. The authors of games like it when people say the good and bad of a game, so they know what to improve on. They don't want to hear "Meh" or "AWESOME!!!!111one111!!!" or "THIS SUCKS". Also, I find that a lot of people either rate games 0.5, 5, or 10. Coincidence? I think not.
People need to hear what they need to improve on no just the things people say for points. It helps make armor games a better site with better games. I mean if everyone said the little one word or a sentence it would be the same as when they released the game. Unless they saw they're own mistakes. If people like you didn't comment then armor games wouldn't behalf as good as it is now.
This is such a true topic. Only about 1 in every 10 reviews are good. And I don't mean good as in they say they like the game. I mean good as in the reviewer actually describes what they like or don't like, and what the author could do if they wanted to make an improved sequel.
I think the ratio of good reviews to bad reviews is a lot less then that.
Sometimes there is a full page of "good" "bad" "stupid" "didn't like it" "3.5/10" and stuff like that. I really find it pointless commenting on games like that.
