It's unfortunate how a lot of Africa lives, but I believe that we tend to make it sound worse than it really is. The average teenager would consider losing their cell phone and not getting a new one a tragedy, so when we try to think about what they go through it's unimaginable. While in reality a lot of them live happily, and there probably aren't as many who live in poverty as the media makes it out to be.
Half those "send me money and I'll send you a picture of a kid" things are fake anyway.
It breaks my heart to watch "Feed the Children," but yeah, the situation over there isn't nearly as bad as it has been made out to be. When they make those shows, they pick the most pitiful cases of poverty and starvation and give us the idea that the entire continent is like that.
Nah, just a spammer at times. Trolls usually put a lot into their posts so that they can really tick people off. ChristianPatriot was a good one, at least until he turned into an lulz troll.
Of all the places with poverty, it has the most. But seriously, if mankind continues like this in 10 years there will be lack of food and water, not to mention everywhere's polluted air, and the atmosphere will pretty much have burned out completely, so the sun's rays will strike us directly and dissolve us.
It's so sad that are so poor, during the whole African history they were ruled by foreign powers and that's what probably ruined them, even today the majority has not earned its freedom.
I was watching History Channel last night, and it was talking about how Africa had a methane explosion in one of their huge lakes. It wiped out a lot of their population and a lot of animals. It also polluted their air for miles.
Did anyone hear about this? Why does the media keep things like this so secret?
Not that I know of. I didn't hear anything about it until last night.
Methane explosions can last for days and maybe even weeks... It's even worse when it happens in water. Methane is lighter than air, so if the explosion happened by itself it wouldn't be so bad. But since it had the water to way it down, it polluted everything...
Donate money so they can buy atmit. They can't eat solid food anymore because their body just rejects it so atmit was made which has all the nutrients they need. I reckon we should try to not complain about the meals we have because some people die dreaming about something decent to eat.
