I personally do think there will be. And as far as this "war on terrorism" goes it might lead to WW3. I want to know what you guys/girls know. And keep to the rules.
I think that if a WW3 starts up it'll prolly start in the mid. East cause there seems to already be a lot of anger and fighting in that area and it has a valuble resource...oil.
History repeats itself because idiots allow for it to repeat. Which is why we now learn history in class. So you may never know, history may not repeat.
I believe, that if there is a WW3, that the intensity of it will either bring Africa, South America, The very eastern countries besides australia and japan, and canada to stronger power. [Since they never have had the political influence to do so or the need]. If it comes down to it, and the stronger part of the world crumbles then there may be hope.
I dont' think its starting in the middle east.
Look, we nowadays cannot rely on guns. No matter how automatic, we need things that go boom. Things that go boom destroy oil, and the oil burns on till the end of its rich liquid. Because of that, we see a REALLY bad trend. Though the middle east is attracting war in Iraq, it'll divide off. I'm sure. I believe that if Oil becomes something we must fight for, the wars will be over who gets the trade with the middle east, so competing international powers will go to war. Discarding countries with low influence. Also, adding to that India and Pakistan will probably henceforth either be allies or against, and the southern part of Asia will again be mashed to dust. Knowing racial divides and countrys better aliances, the UK, Europe, and Americas will be on one side, controlled africa on both... and the rest is all out backyard junkers.
In all this, Middle East prospers. Soon, all real power will be destroyed, maybe over a billion murdered thankx to Nukes -- and all we'll have is one thing and one thing only.
Forgot the author, but I was playing Call of Duty Four and died. I saw a good quote. "War is not about who's fighting, Its about who's left". So, because theres no moral cause to fighting over oil, which I think we'll end up doing since selective "Who to sell to" will start. Therefor, I'm just hoping it starts AFTER I die happy. [I've seen the terrors of war, as tight as it may be to know our great country is owning once more on the streets of London, Baghdad, Berlin or whereever. I'm pretty sure it'll end up as a sad, painful end for whoever has to join.
[IF All the America's and all of asia, africa, and even armed penguins from antartica join to fight in the war effort... I can gladly say all humane life will end. Our weapons have surpassed our ability to survive, its well known.
Also, Treatys led to WW1. They suck. A few countries back some countries, a few back some others. So when one acts retarded, the allie has to declare war on someone, who then must declare war on someone, and if not, then everyone tagteams them and then goes back to war.
There very well could be a WW3 because humanity still probably has another 1000 years on it and its in the nature of humanity to conflict. Personally I don't think America should keep jumping into countrys and shooting people. If this keeps happening there will most likely be a WW3.
One of the reasons America has stayed powerful is BECAUSE of jumping into other countries. Gulf war bought us riches, Vietnamese bought us political influence. [They had a pretty good weapon manufacturing system till we showed up]. Because of all this America hasn't been put down. Sadly, on this war, we've got more of a hassle. Its not turning out right. And its not even near a world war.
YES... there will be... i have proof from the Bible and proof from... welll... general knowledge. In the Bible(if you're Christian and will believe me), when Jesus Comes down from heaven, THere would be a Great big war happening. If you're not Christian and you dont read the Bible, then... WARS have been happening for, well, almost, forever! nothing is going to stop another World War from happening.
You cannot say America is the cause of everything bad (war-wise).
When we started to form our country, we had to fight many wars for us to live. We won those wars and people didn't take us seriously. They told themselves that we would never get organized and we would end up killing one another.
This was partly right because we had the horrible civil war which killed very many of our fellow Americans just over slavery.
Anyways, Why do you guys say the war America is in right now is going to cause WW3. And why do you think we started it.
On September 11th the terrorists started this war. They crashed several public planes into The Twin Towers, The Pentagon and They Tried to hit the White House. Sudam Hussein and Osama Bin Ladin. planned it all out and decided to attack America at it's Economy (Twin Towers), it's military (Pentagon) and our National Leadership (White House)
Terrorists started this war, not America. And as I've said before, Our national code is to fight them on their turf, not on ours. We weren't going to allow them to invade. We sent our troops over there and to protect our civilians.
If anyone should be blamed for starting a WW3 over the war in Iraq, It should be the Iraqi's.

if any country were to use a nuclear missile it would be the end of the world because if they did other countries would have to get rid of this insane country with more nukes and eventually it would go in an endless cycle until almost everyone is dead and those who are not dead are dying of radiation poisoning. Once bush is gone either Hilary Clinton or (more likely) Barrack Obama (i hope i spelled that right) is president of the US they will immediately get their tropps out of thier and let the iraqi's deal with it themselves and also let the Canadian troops (and british if they are still there i havent really been paying much attention to the british) also get out of the middle east
We don't have proof terrorists hit us, we are starting a war in Iraq, not the terrorists. I would have made killing terrorists more "secret and intelligence work" than soldiers. We started a war in IRAQ. And as such, we have a country against us. Terrorists may have started the war on terror, but, even if its not been said in our oh so faithful media [sarcasm :P].. we have started a war in iraq.
