I would have to say Forrest Gump is my pick. That movie has a great storyline, great actors, great acting, and it goes through major events in our country of four different decades.
According to IMDB, Citizen Kane is the best movie of all time, but I think it's boring and blur... Old Boy, from corean Park CHan Wook, is one of my fav movie... But I might say The Dead Poets Society, which is the only movie that took a tear from my eyes at the end...just a wonderful movie!!
Lord of the Rings! And 300! Lord of the Rings for the sheer beauty of the movie - the sights, sounds, scenery, and of course, the ability to transform Tolkien's epic classic into a movie is a feat in itself (despite some flaws). 300 was amazing because of its artistic value as well as the narration behind the story.
I really enjoyed the Shawshank Redemption and Apocalypse Now they are both great films. There is are far too many to choose from but I think those two are near the top.
