Stalin was worse then hitler, if you had added it up he killed probably just as much as Hitler did. But it was to his own people. Stalin starved his own people, forced them to work in factorys for nothing, just so he could fuel his army. Eventually millions died of starvation. But in the end both were very bad, and mentally insane people.
Such a bland accusation with no evidence. Stalin didn't kill 55 million people. Especially not of his own.
He had no reason to purposely starve anyone, and if anything, Stalin industrialized Russia greatly, leading to a higher production of food.
He didn't force people to work in factories for nothing. And using force is such a stupid word here. In any system, you need to work or get nothing. Stalin didn't force anyone to work, work is required by the nature of our world.
And any work done in factories produced a lot of gains. They didn't go work in a factory, make products and burn them later? lol?
And fuel his army? You mean the one that he was forced to use for defense from the Nazi invasion?
The Russians did most of the fighting in WWII. Their country suffered some of the most civilian casualties and the most military casualties of WWII. They were the ones that had their country invaded the most, and they were the ones that first started to oppose the Nazi war-machine. Americans have to stop 1. Going around into other people's businesses and 2. Stop taking credit for winning every war they got into. The reason that the Soviets weren't counted as much is because of the Cold War propaganda that the U.S. spread. As for the Hitler-Stalin conversation, I choose Stalin. I understand he killed millions as well, but you have to remember he had a whole council of people suggesting things to him, so he might have pulled a George W. sortof thing. Hitler took all control into his own hands and brainwashed children to die for him.
Powerful countries will always be involved in matters that is not necessarily of their concern. It is part of the way things have always been.
I understand where you're coming from, it's just that America in particular has been sticking their shlong into everybody's face(i.e. vietnam, korea, the middle east, etc.) I think what I'm trying to say is we're not just going to war to "help the good of the world" Can you honestly say that Bush didn't help any of his oil friends in the Gulf War, War in Iraq, and War in Afghanistan?
