(I don't think this topic was made yet).

I made this topic because people in the "Hitler vs Lenin" topic said they would have preferred this (Hitler vs Stalin).

So post what you think... I think Hitler was the better and smarter man.

Of course Stalin wanted to attack America and Hitler knew better then that.

You serious? No he didn't.
Russia was in no condition for war and Stalin knew that
Hitler was a smart man Stalin was a puppet to the KGB.. Yes Hitler killed millions of innocent people but Stalin killed millions of innocent Germans when he got there.

Ok..
One, Stalin if anything was the leader of the KGB.
Two,
Hitler killed 50m+ people.
Stalin fought against the Germans who killed innocent people -_-

Stalin my friend would win. Hitler made the same mistake as Napolean. Russia has bitter winters that the German soldiers were not use to. And we saw in WWII Russia prevailed because of superior tactics, harsh weather conditions, and just as much if not more motivation to protect their mother land.

You call grouping civilians, not giving them any weapons and launching them against german mashine-gunners good tactics?

Hitler TRIED to purify the human race and make it a better place, contrary to Stalin who tried to make Russia a better place to him, and Hitler managed to &quoturify" the human race better than Stalin... Also Hitler was a genius defeating most of Europe, Africa and part of Russia using mainly the Blitzkrieg strategy, and he got German out of their economical crisis as well as Canada, U.S.A and other countries because of the war.

he got German out of their economical crisis

NO HE DIDN'T HE EXPONENTIALLY INCREASED IT!

IT'S ONE OF THE REASONS THE GERMANS LOST!

Watch "The Counterfeiters". German independent film. You obviously need to see something accenting how much terrible, unrecoverable debt the Germans were in.

Stalin industrialized Russia. This led over 120 million illiterate peasants who still used wooden tools, out of the Middle Ages. This turned a feudal society into superpower capable of taking defense against imperialist powers.
Because of this, he was able to lead Russia to victory over the Nazis.

No, he tried to kill everyone who didn't fit into his idea of a perfect German. He tried to make the world a better place for Germans, by eliminating everyone else.

And that was a ridiculous statement on Stalin. On the contrary, Stalin took great efforts to better the Soviet Union.
How could he make a whole country "better for him"? That statement doesn't even make sense on a logical basis, let alone a political and social one.

Also Hitler was a genius defeating most of Europe, Africa and part of Russia using mainly the Blitzkrieg strategy

Hitler was horrible strategist. He did not trust any of his generals and made very dumb plans in his invasion of WW2.
The Blitzkrieg strategy failed miserably. The plan was to take out the Soviet Union in a couple of months, but the war lasted nearly 5 years. 500,000 Germans died within the first few months of the war.
Although the Germans made quick advancements into the Soviet Union, it was primarily because of the surprise attack and their air and tank superiority.

Hitler also did not let anyone of his armies to surrender, even when they were hopelessly doomed. Paulus's 6th Army, consisting of 250,000 men, surrounded by the Red Army in the middle of a Russian Winter with no supplies and food, was given orders not to surrender. By the time the Russians captures them, only 90,000 of the troops remained and most of them died shortly after from disease. Only 6,000 Germans of that army survived by the end of the war.

and he got German out of their economical crisis as well as Canada, U.S.A and other countries because of the war.

At the cost of the largest war ever to exist which completely devastated Germany and the USSR and cost the lives of 60 million people.

Hitler was a madmen.

I think that was a one time desperate attempt and was not done on a large scale.
The Germans were bombing the city with up to 2000 planes a day, the supply line was cut off.

And I believe this took place in urban warfare, so it wasn't like 200,000 soldiers running in an open field and being shot down by Maxims.
They were dead if they did nothing as well.

Joseph Stalin (18 December 1878 - 5 March 1953) was the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union's Central Committee from 1922 until his death in 1953. In the years following Lenin's death in 1924, he rose to become the leader of the Soviet Union.
Stalin launched a command economy, replacing the New Economic Policy of the 1920s with Five-Year Plans and launching a period of rapid industrialization and economic collectivization. The upheaval in the agricultural sector disrupted food production, resulting in widespread famine, such as the catastrophic Soviet famine of 1932-1933, known in Ukraine as the Holodomor.[1]
During the late 1930s, Stalin launched the Great Purge (also known as the "Great Terror&quot, a campaign to purge the Communist Party of people accused of sabotage, terrorism, or treachery; he extended it to the military and other sectors of Soviet society. Targets were often executed, imprisoned in Gulag labor camps or exiled. In the years following, millions of ethnic minorities were also deported.[2][3]
In 1939, the Soviet Union under Stalin signed a non-aggression pact with Nazi Germany, followed by a Soviet invasion of Poland, Finland, the Baltics, Bessarabia and northern Bukovina. After Germany violated the pact in 1941, the Soviet Union joined the Allies to play a large role in the Axis defeat, at the cost of the largest death toll for any country in the war. Thereafter, contradicting statements at allied conferences, Stalin installed communist governments in most of Eastern Europe, forming the Eastern bloc, behind what was referred to as an "Iron Curtain" of Soviet rule. This launched the long period of antagonism known as the Cold War.
Stalin made efforts to augment his public image and a cult of personality developed around him; however, his successor, Nikita Khrushchev, denounced his legacy and drove the process of de-Stalinization of the Soviet Union.[4]

while hitler is the one most know about for the holocaust and for being dictator of germany in ww2, both have considerable flaws. there are many things both people did that not everyone knows about. horrible atrocities and conspiracies. i couldnt really vote for either because they were both pretty evil

Okay, both were incredibly evil men. However, I'd vote for Hitler because although Hitler was cruel, Stalin was even worse. For example, Stalin tortured and often killed any soldiers that the Germans caught and sentenced to POW camps, because the Soviet POWs inderectly helped the German war effort.
