Do scenarios of robots malfunctioning, rebelling, or escaping from top secret labs strike fear into your heart? Dangerous robots come in many forms: from tiny insects to giant walking droids. Daniel H. Wilson teaches worried humans the keys to quashing a robot mutiny. From treating laser wounds to fooling face and gait recognition, besting robot logic to engaging in hand-to-pincher combat, Wilson covers every possible doomsday scenario facing the newest endangered species: humans. And with its thorough overview of current robot prototypes-including giant walkers, insect, dog, and snake robots-How to Survive a Robot Uprising is also a witty yet legitimate introduction to contemporary robotics.
NOW YOU REALIZE WHY WE MUST STOP THE EVIL ROBOTS BEFORE HUMANITY IS LOST FOREVER!!!!
You know this reminds me of a book I saw in a book store once.
I think in real life by the time this technology exists so will so called E bombs aka EMP bombs which shut down electronics. I think that unless these things were controlled by robots that they could be used to take out a whole city of its electricity. On top of that there also things on a smaller scale like a new thing called a zapper that is in production that zaps a small pulse of electricity at a car engine shorting it out and shutting it down, which right now can be used to prevent suicide bombing attacks, but I could see how this could be used against possibly robots as well if used right.
I'm pretty sure nukes and atomic bombs will do the trick too...
nah it's a little risky the nuke can kill like a ton of people if it's in city. you gotta lure the robot to some place where there is like no humans or anything... how about a big DESERT?
