I'm gonna log off after this and answer any grievances regarding my post tomorrow, anyways..

Its come too the attention of many and in terms me, that police officers are starting too abuse their power, be violent towards docile people, tazering/beating people when its uncalled for and acting like if you don't obey them they will arrested for no reason other than that.

The most recent case of police brutality happened earlier today

scroll down a tad, the video is there

heres how this event went, a 55 year old grandfather was celebrating his new grandchildren baptism when the police arrived on a noise complaint, the police said they dint turn the music down(witch is unknown but a noise complaint is worth the police asking and maybe a ticket, not what they actually do). After that the police asked the grandfather for his identity, he showed it,and this with the fact that he was drunk in his own backyard (not a crime) they pulled out there tazers. well one after the other they tazered him too the point where 3 tazers were on him, after this the 25 year old mother of the kids ran too his support and was tazered for ''assaulting a police officer''(she was pregnant too).

The police clearly dint realize that a noise complaint is worth maybe staying around and chatting with the people too get the noise down then leaving and if necessary giving them a ticket under the offense of disturbing the peace.

''Every cop that uses his tazer in a situation were he is not under fire should be fired then tazered!''

hes some more videos of police brutality.you'll notice they do these things usually too old men and women.(just copy the links, i don't feel too url them all)

"Don't taze me Bro!"

That quote sums it all up.

Anyway there's a lot of unknown variables in your story.

It's really impossible for people to know if police officers will abuse their power before hiring them. Some cops obviously go way to far. The tazer video(the last video) was harsh. He obviously had no reason to taze her, even if she was running away.

I saw this vid, were this guy said ''I don't want to go in the police car.'' The guy was really weakened, but a police man teaser him. Thats over-exaggerating.

There are a lot of unknowns. I remember when a police officer tazed a 60 year old woman, and there was a huge uproar to fire him. But when his dashcam video was released, it showed the lady pushing him into freeway traffic, and he used the tazer to protect himself.

"Don't taze me Bro!"

That guy had it coming. He was disturbing the peace.

Generally speaking, police brutality varies by nation. In China, someone caught with drugs might be shot on the spot. In America, you just go to jail depending on what product you had.

in France they are quite cool with it, but also depending on what you have, and the quantity...
I mean, if you're taken by the Custooms with 2grams of pot, they'll take it, and taht's it, same for the police, you'll maybe go to the police station, spend a couple of hour here, and then they'l let you go...
For Cocain, Meth or harder stuff, I really don't know, but in the Capital, Paris, I know that if you're taken with cocain, in some neighboorhood, itr's like being taken with pot somewhere else, it's just not a big deal...

Anyway, I didn't heard that much of police brutality in France...
It's quite ok for that matter...

you seriously need too fire a cop who cant handle a 60 year old lady pushing him withought using a weapon.

the thing about tazers is they are using them like they are just there too subdue anyone who dosent listen, the most perfect example of police using a tazer right is when a guy tarted attacking cops(with his fists) beat 2 cops, then a cop tazered him, they cuffed his hands(apropriatly, they dint hit his head into the ground or anything) and took him too jail.

one of the worst videos about how police even dont know the law, is about a pastor(i think thats something religious, dunno) he was going through one of these checkpoints and they asked him too search his car(for no reason..) he said no like any american who knows his rights would, so they go a dog out, the dog just sat there then they said the dog alarmed them that he has drugs, clearly the dog hadnt so he dint let them in, so after that they broke his windows(i think they tazered him) pressed his head against the broken glass on his door, riped him from the car, and smashed his head into the cement, then they abused him mentally by namecalling and teasing in a room where he was tied up. later they searched his car and found nothing.

Police have always been abusing their power. Anyone with power in the U.S. seems to abuse it, actually.

If we're talking about other countries though that might not be the case, depending on what they're supposed to do in certain situations. But definitely, in the U.S., police love shiny tasers and can't seem to hold back from using them.

Cop: Could I see some licence and registration?
Guy in car: Sure...just a second...
*man reaches for glove box*
Cop: He's reaching for a gun!!! *tase*

Your always going to end up with a sadistic person with no morals who gets into a bit of power and then abuses it severely. Don't steriotype policemen on being brutal and power controlling. Many of them join because they want to help. It's like why teachers teach, they don't get paid much and the only benifit is summer break but even then, the majority of teachers love teaching, and the majority of policemen want to help.

I want to believe that most bullies grow up to be cops, but that's a lie. lol I think anyone is tempted to abuse their powers if they are put into high authority, but those same people should have some common sense. Cops sometimes disgust me.

Guys, yeah, sometimes excessive force is used by police officers when it's unnecessary. But what are we going to do about it? I mean, every police department's going to have a RoboCop. The victim can sue them, get them fired, what more do you want? We can't take away their sidearms or tazers, because those are put to good use when they are needed, by the policemen that make up the majority; the ones who know when to apply force and when not to. I honestly don't think that those officers are abusing their power on purpose, they're just overreacting and using much more force than is necessary. I hope the people in those videos are OK, but honestly, they can get the policemen in real serious trouble. There's not much else to do.
