A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.

Well, that said, heres the rules:

1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)!
2) It must fit the weeks theme
3) It must be submitted before the deadline
4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written)
5) One Submission per user
6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)

Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...

The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond

Yeah, Efan.

the syllables in the lines are supposed to go 5-7-5, not 4-5-4.

Okay then, today'll be the day, and we'll have a new theme to hope for the revival of the thread.

Judging will be posted by tomorrow. I'd also like to advise you that it will be my last for a good while. I've had my glorious days as a judge, but I'm too overwhelmed by my personal issues to continue to ensure this thread's well being.
Until the sky has cleared up a little for me, I leave this thread in the hands on another judge; I already caused it enough harm as it is.

Until I post judging, you're all free to debate who shall be the judge; I shall pick upon the proposed users. Know that you shouldn't consider the post unwillingly, for I'll be gone a good while - maybe a few months.

Life before AG, Fallen, that's the *OTHER* unspoken rule around here!
A few months sound like a lot. Maybe until Spring so you can fire off the first cherry blossom contest of the year?

You're telling me! I'm the one who logged in 300 hours of AG in a couple months. Which one of us is deemed sadder? D:

Under the premise that Fallen forgot to post the judging before he went on hiatus and that he will not be back for some months, I propose that we get the ball rolling and decide on a new judge. *votes for Frank*
