A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond

This'll be my serious entry...i kept thinking about it (should I make a serious one or shouldn't I) the other two you can ignore. Also this is a first person view haiku, the phrase "There is no one left" is being said by the last person on earth...just so you don't get confused thinking i'm talking about literally no one left.

Hello all, I'm resigning from my position. I just ruined every chance I had at getting my girl back, and I need to have some time to heal my wounds. I'll be seeing therapists and doctors for the next weeks, so you should really be seeking another judge. I'm not saying I'll never be back, but expect to not see me for a while; the time I make sure life is still worth living. Dudeguy saud he could back me again, so let him, and find someone else afterwards. I'm sorry I've been such a downer on everyone after asking for job so much, but my life is literally circling down the drain right now...
