A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond
Sleeping or waking, Live every day the same dream, Jump off the building.
*Game reference* Yet, it's funny how the game fits the theme...
Now my entry:
The fall is quite long When will I crash on the ground? Send a text message...
Suicide IS boring... No really I might submit another one later, though it won't matter if I'm the judge this week. As mentionned in the judging post, I'm willing to give a taste of judgemanship to a subsidiary judge so if you're up to it, give me a whiiiiiiiiiiizzzzzzzzzzzzz. If not, I'll gladly be the judge, as usual.
Ah yes! The judging! Sorry, I'm crammed under piles of work and responsibilities these days...Guess I'm as unpuctual as can be; it's a shared trait among haiku judges. Well, it'llbe up very soon, I swear!
You know, pure irony and all, but I absolutely have nothing to do and all the time in the world since I technically have no school left in my life (although I will be attending college in a few months), so maybe if people such as FallenSky need a hand at some judging, I could help hold the reins a bit. I have experience of judging here prior to my leaving, of course ;P
