A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond
All other poems have to be in by tomorrow. I will definitely not be able to judge on Thanksgiving, as I am going to the parade in the morning, and most likely hanging with my family that night. Hopefully by the 25th. If not, over the weekend.
It is November 24th, meaning the round is officially over. I'll be judging hopefully by tomorrow. I'll be heading off to the parade soon, so, have a great Thanksgiving!
Breathing among clouds, Life rides the passage of time searching for purpose
The wording made this haiku placement worthy. The originality of the concept grabbed me. I very much liked it, Frank. Nice job.

Running after wind; when it leads you to an end, turn and run again
The emotion given was really good. It wasn't too much of cliche and simple, which I like. I liked this one very much. Keep it up!

Fly, high as I can, Soaring above the great clouds, Looming 'bove the world
You continue to impress me. I can picture the story of the poem so well. The concept was original, and absolutely amazing. Well done.

Imagination Of a child, chasing dragons, Chasing the wild winds
The wording of this haiku was awesome, bro. I love the story of the mind of a young child imagining wonders from the outside to his own world. I loved it!
