Well in many songs, movies, games and everything you see great nationalism for America. I kinda think it's stupid to use amerifcanism if you intend to spread your thing trhoughout the whole world. For example bands/singers we all over the world listen to, have a few songs about america, and how great it is. Well, I don't think America is all that good, maybe its also part of my own nationalism, but I actually always prefer speaking english on stuff I intend International. If you say your country is good, Will you make friends with that?

America is great. cooll99, what your saying is ironic because you live in a communist country. Americans are not lazy, at least not more so than other countries claiming they're better than us. If America falls, it will be because we're so self-inflicting on ourselves. Why can't be optimistic for once?

All the big countries don't have democracy? Canada is democratic. Russia is democratic. America is democratic. China is democratic.
In the sense that in all of them the population votes in it's leaders, at least to a certain extent.
(I'm only talking on the surface here, I'm not really getting into all the differences)
The American political system is not all that great. There are only 2 viable options to vote for and they aren't all that different.
GM (General *cough* government *cough cough* moters), and look at the ideas of what Obama wants and thinks. In fact, the Nazis where Nationalsozialismus, or National Socialists, which is what we now have in America.

If we can forget any feeling behind a country for this comment - America is where the Corperations that control the worlds resources reside in. Im sure there are reasons to do with trade etc... so anyone that professes their country to be better than some other one is deluded. Borders dont matter to corperations, they span the world. Go look and Vivendi. They OWN universal. They also own half of Activision Blizzard. Im sure you all know who they are. They span the globe. How many mergers and takeovers do we not know about.
And the people in the american goverment generally have business interests as well. This has spread to the rest of the western world. I dont know if you would call it "americanisation" but I notice the way adverts are becoming more "american", we have lots of (crap) american beers, we even have McDonalds, exept its crap and is making my country obese! We dont get free coffee refills, tho I have to admit, Im waiting for that with a jittered smile (tho it may not be a good thing).

I think there are two types of americans, the ones that think theyre the ebst for being in the !st power of the wolrd & the ones who donbt care about that and live their lives peacefully. The first ones are more recists, they hate blacks(no ofense)they hate chinese, japanesee, and im sure they make jokes about mexicans.
