Well in many songs, movies, games and everything you see great nationalism for America. I kinda think it's stupid to use amerifcanism if you intend to spread your thing trhoughout the whole world. For example bands/singers we all over the world listen to, have a few songs about america, and how great it is. Well, I don't think America is all that good, maybe its also part of my own nationalism, but I actually always prefer speaking english on stuff I intend International. If you say your country is good, Will you make friends with that?
Just was wondering how people thought about this (I also want to hear some from some americans)
America is just like everywhere else in the world. It just has a load more crazies, a few kinds of people you can't find anywhere else in the world and a strange thing they call freedom of speech. It's a great country. I love the place. It's no worse than anywhere else in the world.
1)I'm afraid you don't have more crazies than anywhere else in the world. China has 287,000,000 and India has 235,000,000 while America has only 60,000,000.

2) There are lot's of other countries with the equivalent of Freedom of Speech. In fact, there are lots of other countries with a LOT more freedom in that are than America.

I personally wonder why so many people have some crazy hate for america. What exactly did we do that ticked everyone off? People since it was created have always had something against us why? Yes i understand sometimes we over reach into others affairs but you need to sometimes do that to keep yourself an established world power. I personally don't get why so many people have complaints about us.

Well there's establishing members of the CIA as dictators of countries, then condemning these leaders, there's many a war, the world policing, you're all fat, your "buy american" ecenomic policy, you break NAFTA without consequences, your president getting a Nobel Peace Prize he doesn't deserve, your poor health care and education, you think your army is so great yet you can't win anything, ummm, that's all off the top of my head

How is it our fault? Poor health care and education: We're trying to fix that. It's like criticizing a smoker that's desperately trying to quit. Buy America Policy: America needs the help? The world needs the help. Every consider the resource based economies like Canada? Especially since 90% of our exports go to America. We need the help too, and this policy is only hurting.
Wars: You do a lot for freedom in other countries? Why did you go to Iraq? Was it for freedom? Sure as hell wasn't because there are lot's of countries doing much worse with their dictators.
US Fighting a war to become a country: After 100 years Britain got nice and we were lucky? How about we slowly asserted our independence through non-violent actions like declaring war as a seperate country, establishing our own bill of rights. And eventually, as every imperialistic country did, Britain realized it could not manage to support all these colonies spread out around the world.
Poor health care and education: You're trying your best? It's like criticizing a smoker who's trying to quit? Poor health care and education aren't addictive. All you need to do to find a good health care and education system is copy another country. There is no "trying" to it. Just do it!

Well, I guess you are right. America does have a great military, which is one of the reasons you had disputes in the middle east with forces other than the Taliban.
Now how did YOUR oil get underneath THEIR sand? It's a geograhical conundrum. Obviously you have it marked for freedom, while they only use it to make a living and survive...

Actually, we make a lot of high-tech equipment. We also made the technology that led to high-tech stuff- without us, Japan would still be using candles.

This just made me laugh. We just get handed supremely advanced technology for our military from other countries. Right..... Somehow I think the fact that the most brilliant minds in the world move to our country CAUSE THEY GET PAID MORE, as well as the brilliant natives working together can develop the most advanced technology in existance. Tomer you are in Israel where weapons are bought frome which country again??? The United States has brought more inventions to the world in the last century than most of the rest of the world combined.
Lets see, we have movies, assembly line car production, television, NUKES, cell phones, phonograph, internet, electric trains, airplanes... just to name a few.
